We had a wonderful tour of two different wineries outside Aix with Ines. As it happened, only the three of us signed up, so it was like a private tour! Ines was very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. She took us to a more traditional,established vineyard, and to another newer one nearby. In both cases, we met the winemaker and learned how wine is produced. We also tasted some wonderful wines. Highly recommended this tour.

Exceptionally good tour

I can’t say enough good things about our guide, Valentin. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the events and places and described them in a witty and entertaining way. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about the D-Day landings, but I learned many new things from him. Going to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery were bucket list items for my wife and me for a long time and we’re so glad that we had Valentin to make it come alive for us.

It was a fun time to get...

It was a fun time to get out of the city and learn more about the wine growing and making and different wines. Also the tastings of course. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Great time at St. Emilion

Dulce was a great guide! She kept it interesting during the travel and provided historical information during our time im town. Everything was done right on schedule. She gave great recommendations for lunch. We learned so much about wine, not just bordeaux wine which we applied to the rest of our vacation.

Wonderful experience...

Wonderful experience traveling to three different châteaux throughout the day. Had plenty of free time to have lunch and meander during the middle of the tour. Small group size (6). Very knowledgeable and funny guide. Would HIGHLY this for an all day excursion.

Jehanne was very nice & informative. We thought the 2nd winery Chateau Fortin was not a good choice. Only a quick tasting with 10 people in a small space. Young woman doing the tasting was confusing & seemed new. For the price of Chateauneuf wines, we would like a knowledgeable person leading the tasting. It was expensive for a ride & 2 tastings.

Only worrh it if can get one hour alone time in village

Just make sure you know that you don't get inside the castle at all. There is no time to walk on the rampparts either. You get a little time to walk through the village with the guide and take a few pictures. Out alone time was cut short because we were waiting for another person to show up for at least twenty minutes! Then when we were supposed to have an hour on our own to explore this was cut down to half an hour!! We should not have been punished for another guest, not showing up on time. We were all very disappointed and especially me ,since I've always ever wanted to go to Carcassonne ,and because I won't be back to France again☹️

Beautiful Alsace and wonderful wine!

We enjoyed a wonderful wine tour. Our guide, Pauline, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She not only guided us to three unique wineries, she made sure we had an opportunity to visit several charming villages in Alsace along the way. I heartedly recommend this tour, and would book it again.

Alsace at its best - a great guided tour by Carlos

Carlos was a great guide. His commentary on all things Alsace was informative and entertaining throughout the tour - especially the little detours to see fantastic views, special sights and, of course, any stork chicks that happened to be in residence. The three wineries were an excellent sample of the variety in Alsace. Carlos had also arranged for us to taste two Grand Crus - an unexpected and superb treat. The Alsace wine trail is such a beautiful area, we definitely recommend this full day tour.
