Matt was our guide. He was very, very nice. He is extremely knowledgeable about Omaha Beach and delivered a wonderful presentation of the various sites we visited. We highly recommend having Matt as a guide.

What an awesome and informative tour! Our guide, Rodolphe was fantastic from his extensive knowledge about wine and St Emilion to his comedic remarks. We tried red wines at 3 chateaus in the region and had a lovely walking tour of the town. The day was well organised and ran at a good pace. Well worth it and if you have Rodolphe, you will be sure to have a fun and educational experience!

Best Wine Tour Ever
Best wine tour we've ever been on. We are not wine aficionados and only ever have the occasional glass. However, over the years we have been on a couple dozen wine tours/tastings in northern California and some more in several other regions. While we don't drink wine that much, we're keen to learn about it. The Burgundy vineyards and valley north of Dijon provided a beautiful autumn backdrop. Our driver and guide, Adam, really made this tour outstanding. A proud Burgundian who has lived and worked in the wine cultural, his understanding of his audience and ability to enthusiastically convey a broad knowledge of Burgundy wine was much appreciated. We learned of the natural history and climate in the area lending to growing grapes, the evolution of the wine making process through the Romans and then local monks who in-turn were embraced by the local aristocrats, and of how the vineyards were sub-divided and the rules for naming the wine. At two different wine caves different aspects of wine production were explained, Adam comfortably teamed with the cave hosts to further educate us and discuss multiple dimensions of wines' bouquets as we tasted a total of 9 wines. The season and half-day duration were both just right, but what really made this tour so enjoyable was our guide, Adam.

Our trip was awesome! Pascal our driver was very informative and helpful! He knew and explained everything in detail. To see what our troops had gone through really connects the dots in one of the greatest events in our history! It was also a great way to see more of the country side.

Nicely paced day of vineyard tours and experiencing great wines and their histories!
This wine for was the highlight of our trip to Bordeaux! What started in the morning as 8 strangers assembling from Orlando, Miami, Chicago and Hong Kong, ended as friends learning about the history of wine making in France that has been carried on through generations of families. We visited 3 of Bordeaux's 600 different chateau. First stop was Vignobles Bardent on the banks of the lovely Dordogne River and had been in the same family since 1704. We then spent some time in St, Emilion walking the cobble stone village. My wife and I chose to have our lunch in a fantastic restaurant called Le Comptoir du passage. Once reassemble after two hours of our own time, we were off to visit Chateau Belleview which began in 1642. We even had the opportunity to meet the current owner! The last stop before heading back to Bordeaux was Chateau Ferrand in Pomerol. We tasted 4 wines at each and learned what it was about each wineries location that has a different impact on the complexities of their wines. Our for guide, Dulce, was fun and personable and very knowledgeable about the region, the wines and of the vineyards that she to us to. She really made this trip a memorable experience and I would highly recommend this tour, especially if Dulce is your guide!

Way more than we expected!
We were 100% satisfied with our tour with Ophorus. The company was not our first choice since Overlord was full!! And are we thankful for that disappointment!! Our tour guide Pascal was humorous, incredibly informed, thoughtful and gave us so much more than we expected. Why? We have done D day tours several times over the years and in spite of being a half day tour, Pascal made this into a full day experience!!

Great trip, all around!
Our day was great. Every detail was taken care of. Our guide was amazing. We got to understand the history with fun stories and we got a little alone time to wander & shop. The castle was super interesting and a great way to end the day!
