Worthwhile day tour

Fabulous day trip from Toulouse with plenty of variety. Opportunity to visit Toulouse-Lautrec museum in Albi, challenging hilltown walking in Corles (made easy by our guide choosing a moderate route from parking area), and interesting visit to Guillac region family run winery. This tour was all day but well-paced to allow ample time at each stop, including time for a 3 course lunch in Albi for those who did not indulge in a hearty breakfast. Or fun shopping for those who chose a quick lunch. Our guide, Amelie, provided an enthusiastic and thorough introduction, or reminder, of the history of the region.

Great day out with Jerome, our guide, and a few other wine enthusiasts. It was a perfect day with a visit to three vineyards, and some free time to enjoy lunch on our own Highly recommend!

De gids Pascal weet enorm veel. Misschien is zijn valkuil omdat allemaal te vertellen. Te veel aan het woord dus. Miste tijd om enig museum te bezoeken, waardoor er veel woorden gebruikt werden en te weinig beeld. Luisteren: bij start , op Omaha bij monument, in bunker bij pointe du hoc , luisteren op strand en bij museum Utah en luisteren terwijl we ons verplaatsen met de bus. Het leek wel of Pascal van de 8 uur aan 6 uur aan het woord was. Ook de Groepsgrootte zou 8 personen, was nu verdubbeld. Kortom veel woorden te weinig gezien. Dag later hebben we de overige stranden gedaan met de Pegasus brug incl . 2 x museum. Enorme schat van informatie opgedaan op eigen middelen zonder gids. Hierdoor heb ik de prijs kwaliteit verhouding op slecht beoordeeld
