Our tour of the villages of Dordogne was excellent. Our guide was well organized and gave us plenty of information about the area and its history. She also gave us options if some the walking was to strenuous. This was a well planned tour.

Delicious experience
This was a very nice walking tour around the old city of Sarlat on market day. It was guided by Lina, who was friendly, knowledgeable about Sarlat history, and enthusiastic. As this was a food tour, we visited three merchants and sampled local specialties. Be advised that the tour involves considerable walking and climbing around a medieval city. We don’t think it would appeal to children. Otherwise, highly recommended!

Not cheap but well worth it.
An excellent experience. Our guide was Art(h)ur, who organized things for the six of us very well, wisely starting the day at the impressive Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, which involves a fair amount of walking and stairs. Next a brief (unadvertised) stop at Hunawihr, with its fascinating hillside fortified churchyard, then charming Riquiwihr, a mini-Colmar, where a recommended lunch spot was excellent. Another brief stop at a Franco-American WWII memorial before Kayersberg, another well-preserved late medieval/Renaissance town divided by the pretty Weiss River that flows east to the Rhine, with a ruined castle looming atop a steep hill. A medieval church has a stunning medieval altarpiece. The stop at a chocolatier was a great idea. Finally an informative wine tasting back in Colmar. Art(h)ur was charming, well-informed, and drove calmly. Each tour will have its own itinerary, probably, based on season and weather—we had a beautiful spring day—but my guess is that this outfit is nimble and will make the best accommodations possible.

Absolutely fantastic trip to Chambord and Chenonceau today! The Loire Valley is stunning, and this tour was a perfect way to experience two of its most iconic châteaux. Our tour guide, Ilia, truly made the day exceptional. He was incredibly engaging, bringing the history of both castles to life with fascinating stories and insights. We very much appreciated his enthusiasm and knowledge. Highly recommend this tour, and especially if you're lucky enough to have Ilia as your guide!

What a wonderful experience! Ilia, our guide, did a fantastic job: he was well-prepared, thoughtful, enthusiastic. The experience itself was also nicely balanced, with guided tours but also time for self-discovery as well as relaxation. We loved it and we highly recommend it!

Pascal was a fabulous guide! We learned so much on our tour. He took us to the cemetery last so that we could see the lowering of the flag and tapering played. He made us feel like we were there when he explained the men coming in on the beach and climbing the cliffs. We highly recommend him!

With the narrow roads and popular sites, being driven around took a lot of the stress out of the day. Benoit was knowledgeable and a great guide to have. The trip took us through winding roads, narrow gateways, beautiful scenery to see wonderfully old villages. Would definitely recommend.

Chenonceaux/Chambord
Great trip—our guide was punctual, efficient, and informative. The chateaux are, of course, magnificent and well-worth the trip. Would definitely recommend this to friends.

An easy afternoon excursion
A fun little escape from the “ city “ to see the real world ( countryside) Our tour guide Alain was quick witted and yet informative without being lecturing. We toured 2 little ( somewhat) similar cities in the wine region. Both were picturesque and full of interesting history. We even stopped for a quick informal coffee & chat . All in all a fun , relaxed experience easy to keep up with , yet just enough of an exposure to local villages and unique topography. Had a great time !

Tour guide Valentine was very knowledgeable and friendly. We appreciated stepping into history on Omaha Beach, at Pointe du Hoc and visiting the cemetery to pay our respects.
