A perfect memory

Today we journeyed into the heart of the Bordeaux region, where time seems to have slowed. Our wine tour included a walk through the medieval village of Saint-Émilion —its cobblestone streets wound between ancient limestone buildings, ivy-covered walls… our tour included three vineyards wirh 3 wine tasting at each vineyard … ahh, and then lunch —The star: carbonara bianca—a rich, creamy white version of the classic Italian dish. Silken ribbons of pasta were bathed in a luscious sauce of cream, Parmesan, and tender bits of savory ham. It was indulgent, comforting, and utterly divine—Saint-Émilion gave us more than just fine wine—it gave us a perfect memory.

Great one day intro to Medoc

Our guide, Mathis, was knowledgeable and interesting. The van had microphone and speakers so everyone could hear his commentary. The 3 wineries offered quality and uniqueness. The 2 Grand Cru wines were exceptional.

Got off train from Paris at 1:30 ok . We know nothing about this area.starting to walk around looking for these people did not find.someone should have met us at station . not happy at all with these people

Trip was great and loved the wineries and the wine. Also enjoyed chinon. I think compared to other wine tours we have taken with the same operator the guide didn’t do much more than drive. Also didn’t use headset so was very hard to hear her when she did speak.

Jerome was a great guide. He provided information and took us to places I would never have seen , all while adding a little humor to keep it fun. The van was very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend!

We, as a family of 3 had a lovely time with Gironde (tour guide) who had a good general knowledge and enhanced the experience with his pleasant nature. Overall, I would recommend this tour to even inexperienced Bordeaux wine drinkers like myself.

The only thing that could be improved is that sometimes our guide was hard to hear. However the rooms were very crowded and noisy so it will be difficult to be heard.

Teiry was brilliant and knowledgeable. Loved his anecdotes and he made us all felt relaxed to be able to enjoy the day. Shame we didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the lake area but it was a long way between places. Baden-Baden was interesting and so different to Strasbourg. Would recommend this tour happily. Black forest cake yum!

Wine tour

The town was absolutely gorgeous, and the wine tasting was very accessible for people who don't know anything about wine, like me! Our guid, jerome, was fantastic. Charasmatic and personable.

Very, very informative! Our guide, Pascal was passionate and very knowledgeable about the D-Day invasion to liberate Europe. Actually seeing the sites from my history books and learning what the soldiers experienced was invaluable and inspiring.
