No real complaint about the transportation or the guide (in fact the guide was very informative). The complaint is the crowds and noise which makes it difficult to hear and understand the guide as well as visit the site.

This was an exceptional tour, due in large part to our guide, Ugo who was the best guide we had the whole trip, and truly could not have been better. He was so friendly and knowledgeable, he answered all our questions and weaved together the different winery visits into a fun and fascinating cohesive day.

Florence was a great guide. Even though the weather was not ideal, she kept us entertained on the drive through Alsace with random facts about each town and the history of the region. The two stops we made were very different, but each great in their own way. The half day tour was the perfect length to see a new area of the region without taking up a full day of vacation.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and the tour was very informative. If you have time for a full day tour I would opt for that. The 1/2 day tour had my family wanting more but we just didn’t have the time in our travel schedule.

The tour was excellent from the first moment we met our guide Helene. Pick up was on time and her professional introduction told us and our fellow guests what the itinerary was and what to expect from the day. Helene was an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guide. The Chateaus we visited were well chosen for their differences ranging from the classical to the quirky. We were well received in each one with good presentations tastings and opportunity to purchase or order their range of wines. We would totally recommend this day for the value for money itinerary and particularly for the excellent guide Helene and the personal approach. She particularly went out of her way to show us the locations of the famous Chateaus in addition to those we visited. A great full day experience.

Our guide, Miryam, was excellent! She shared lots of interesting information about the towns we passed through and the wines of the region. The van was very comfortable. It was a small group of 7 so plenty of attention was paid to participants. The 2 stops included 5 tastings each, so there was lots to compare. These families have been making wine through many generations and they take great pride in their work and products. A very enjoyable afternoon!

The tour today of Cro- Magna man caves and cave paintings gs was incredible!! The experience was enhanced by our guide Ann, who provided so much background information and added opportunities to see and photograph caves and other historical sites in the area. Ann made the day fun and sensational!!! Thank you!

Amazing experience. Our guide Jehanne was amazing. Very knowledgeable, spoke impeccable English, on time. Car was new and air conditioning worked well. Visited two wonderful wineries, saw a lot of the countryside and Châteauneuf du Pape was an adorable village. Definitely recommend it!

Our guide, Arthur, was amazing! A lot of information about all the towns and sites we visited. I was disappointed that the wine tasting was in the city of Colmar at the end of the tour. It would have been much nicer if the tasting had been at one of the many wineries on the wine route. Also, more time in each village to explore on your own after the walking tour - maybe add an hour to the tour and allow an extra 30 minutes in each town?

There aren’t the right words to express how incredible this tour was. Matt Turner was the best tour guide we have EVER had on any tour we have taken in our travels. His passion for the story of D-Day and Normandy Beach and his in-depth knowledge were incredible, but it was his storytelling ability that allowed him to share it with us in such a powerful way. We laughed, we cried, we took in every tiny detail of the tour because of Matt’s gift. We will forever be grateful to him for this experience and cannot recommend this tour with him more! I wish we could give it 10 stars!
