Almost perfect for the tour’s duration.

Great tour with a terrific guide. Knowledgeable, fun, accommodating, thanks to our guide, Lucas. Nice van, too, for a total of 7 guests. Our only disappointment was that the tour did not include Riquewihr, as had been advertised. On a previous visit, that was our favorite town in Alsace, and we were really looking forward to visiting it again.

Overall it was an. Nice experience. Van was too small for 8 people. Very cramped Guide was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Tour of family vineyards were very pleasant and interesting.

Perfect bite sized tour

My husband and I really enjoyed our tour. It began promptly at 9 and ended at 1. It gave us a flavor of the village Saint Emilion and the Chateau visit and wine tasting were really nice. Our tour guide, Anne, was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Well worth the afternoon visit to saint Emilion

We were hesitant because the forecast was rainy but this was by far the best part of our visit to Bordeaux. The organisation of the trip was faultless. We were two friends and in the mini bus there were another group of four friends and our guide/driver Anne who was studying to be a sommelier - totally lucked out there! The first visit was a chateau and wine tasting - excellent. Following this was the visit to the village of saint emilion. Very pretty indeed!

A fairytale visit come true-the villages of Sarlat and Dordogne!!!!!

My husband and I spent 3 days with our tour guide Anne from Ophorus. We went to Sarlat-Lascaux caves-Dordogne villages We loved it because Anne who was our guide for all three. Anne was very very knowledgeable and extremely pleasent. We are teachers and she was great and also a wonderful driver! The scenery was magnifcent!

Beautiful day trip

Cassis was stunning. The views on the drive, the boat trip, harbour, wine tasting, the host…all of it. Made my birthday very memorable.

Wonderful day trip with Ophorus Tours to Chenonceau and Chambord

Ophorus was very responsive to my questions before booking, and our guide Flore was fantastic—knowledgeable, enthusiastic about the region, and a very safe driver. The other family didn’t show, so we ended up with a private tour. We could have used about 30 more minutes at Chenonceau, but had plenty of time at Chambord. Loved our simple picnic lunch from a local boulangerie by the Cher River and the scenic backroads drive instead of major highways. The schedule allowed extra time in Tours both before and after the châteaux to explore the market and medieval district with its beautiful half-timbered houses. Overall, the tour felt well organized, and we would happily book with Ophorus and Flore again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Pascal! He was so courteous and knowledgeable. He brought the stories of the D-Day landings, as well as the history leading up to them, to life for us. I highly recommend this tour- ask for Pascal!

Wonderful

Gorgeous day out, fantastic guide who spoke excellent English and taught us about the region and its wine in a way that was interesting and. It at all pretentious. Three tastings, all very different settings which added to the experience and a nice amount of time for lunch and a wander in Beaune. Only addition for me would be small snacks with the tastings, charcuterie or cheese would really elevate the experience and fit with the price band in my view.

Exciting and astonishing - great experience.

Minibus was comfortable and spacious, driving was good. Driver was also the guide. Annie was informative, friendly, professional and good humoured. The places were made more interesting with her assistance.The place is amazing and not to be missed. The architecture is astonishing and the history is as well. Well worth the visit.

Er was te weinig tijd voor de tweede proeverij, daardoor kregen we minder wijnen te proeven. Verder was hert erg karig, je kreeg geen hapjes erbij. Dat is just zo belangrijk bij wijnproeven. Voor wat je kreeg vond ik het erg duur. De gids was wel goed.

It was a very informative tour. Hit all the highlights and was a perfect amount of time. We did a half day. Our tour guide Victor was great. He is a local and knows his stuff. We had a great time. Highly recommended the tour.
