Helene, our guide, was fantastic. Full of energy, enthusiasm, and knowledge of the wines and chateaus, she really made the day trip one to remember. The three chateaus we visited were different in their outlook to wine making but showed their passion for the subject. I would book again.

Incredibly Organized Tour

So well organized. Pascal is the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He arrived early and loaded us on the bus quickly to get us out of the rain. He then started off the day by giving us a run down of the timeline so we knew the order of events and timing. Loved that so much. So many tours just go without explaining the order of events. On the drive Pascal gave us background and history of what we’re going to see for the day. He did a warm introduction and explained his credentials which was amazing. First stop was Omaha Beach where we had some free time to look around and take photos then Pascal guided us through the area, explaining the events and casualties. He had umbrellas for us to use while standing in the rain. That was a fantastic touch. Second stop was Pointe Du Hoc, along the ride there Pascal talked us through everything and passed around documents for us to see. Once there he showed us the sights and gave us loads of info before sending us off for free time to explore and take photos. It was incredible to see in person. We loaded back in the bus and had another info filled bus ride on our way to the American Cemetery. The cemetery was unbelievable to see. It gave me chills as soon as I got inside. Pascal walked us in and gave a description of the layout and history of the land then gave us time to explore. Pascal then drove us home and played audio clips on the bus. The half day tour was so perfect. So glad we did not try to figure it out on our own. Everything about this tour was flawlessly executed and Pascal is amazing.

Day in Alsace countryside

It was such a pleasant day. The weather was cooperating and the sights were stunning. Our guide was amazingly knowledgeable and perfectly lovely.

A must see castles

It was a nice small group tour. Our driver and guide Charlene tried her best to make this day memorable for everyone. It is enough time for both guided tour and free time in Chenonceau. I enjoyed this chateau very much. Chambord is too large, but you could get a general vibe/ impression. Lunch stop for 1 hr in Amboise was an additional bonus as some went for a long lunch, whereas others managed to fit either visit to Royal Castle or home of Leonardo Da Vinci.
