Amazing experience riding UTVs through the ranch and learning its history. The best part were the guides though, as they were so fun and knowledgeable of the ranch and the sacred history of the mountains there.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service We had a very frustrating experience at Kualoa Ranch today, and it completely ruined what we were hoping would be a memorable outing. We had booked the Jungle Tour for 12:20 PM and left our hotel well in advance, knowing traffic could be unpredictable. Unfortunately, we were traveling with a child under 3 years old who suddenly got sick and vomited, which forced us to stop for about 10–15 minutes. On top of that, there was road construction causing delays, and the parking lot at the ranch was full, taking additional time to find a spot. Despite all this, we reached the ticket counter at 12:27 PM—just 7 minutes late. What shocked us was the complete lack of empathy and flexibility from the staff. We were told bluntly that the tour had already left, and they could not reschedule or offer a refund. At first, I thought the staff member was joking—but she was completely serious. We explained our situation multiple times, especially highlighting that we had young kids with us and unavoidable circumstances. We even requested to join the next available slot (they admitted even if there were any open spots they can’t accommodate us based on their policy ), So essentially: • They did not provide the service • They refused rescheduling • They refused a refund For a place that charges premium prices, this level of customer service is unacceptable. We were a group of 8 people, including 4 kids, and this experience was incredibly disappointing for everyone. Instead of trying to help or accommodate—even minimally—the staff was rigid, insensitive, and dismissive. The only suggestion given was to buy new tickets for next day. After this experience, I also checked online and found that we are not alone—many others have reported similar issues with their strict and unfriendly policies. We came all the way to Hawaii expecting a great experience, but instead left feeling frustrated and let down. Would not recommend.

We had an overall great time at Kualoa Ranch! It was raining so we weren’t sure how it would go, but thankfully the rain slowed and Tevin was a fantastic tour guide. All the views were incredible and the tour was very informative! Just a side note - the girls who were herding us into the waiting pavilion/taking photos prior to the 3:30 pm tour (04/07/26) were complaining/speaking poorly of previous guest experiences right in front of the current guests to hear :-) other than some unprofessionalism, it was a fun excursion on our trip.

Kualoa Ranch was an amazing experience on our trip. I had booked 2 tours while we were there - the UTV tour & the Kualoa Grown Tour, with round trip transportation from Waikiki. We were picked up just a few blocks from our Hotel and taken to Kualoa. We were able to bypass the lines as we had prior reservations and were on the round trip transportation - they bring your paper tickets to you when you arrive. We had some time once we arrived before we had to check in for our UTV tour. We got some grab & go in the cafe & browsed in the gift shop. We ate at the tables just outside the cafe where we had wild chickens roaming near us. Our UTV tour was first - we checked in and got our safety gear and were sent to numbered tables to wait for our tour start and our safety instructions. The UTV tour was roughly 2 hours of driving a UTV through out the many many acres at Kualoa. First stop...Jurassic Valley. We were able to get some really great photos in Jurassic Valley, one of our tour guides Kay, took an epic Jurassic photo with hand puppet T-Rex. It was such a great experience driving through the various movie sets and beautiful scenery at Kualoa. There was roughly an hour between the end of the UTV tour and the start of our Kualoa Grown Tour, where we were able to check out the little museum, check items into a locker and make some souvenir purchases. For the Kualoa grown tour, you start by boarding an open air trolly type of bus that takes you down the road to Kualoa ranch's gardens. We saw their fish ponds, taro fields, cacao trees, among flowers, and other edible plants. We tried raw cacao that we opened on the tour and were told about the fermentation process and how it is turned into chocolate. Overall, Kualoa was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend taking a tour or two if you are thinking about it. We hope to be able to do their horse back riding tour next time around.

The UTV tour through Kualoa Ranch was a great experience! The photos cannot capture the beauty of this beautiful place. We had an amazing time and learned so much from our guides. I highly recommend the 2 hour UTV tour! Just such a fun time!

This was an unreal experience!! 10/10 would do it again. Adam, Valorie and Griffin’s energies were unmatched during the zip line tour. Kept the vibes in check the entire time and had the whole group looking forward for more. Definitely add Kualoa Ranch to the itinerary 🤙🏾😎

Took the 2 hour ATV raptor tour. It was interesting to be able see all the scenery. You don't move fast on the ATVs, but get pretty dusty

The condition of the animals here is atrocious. The horses look lifeless and miserable, moving at a painfully slow walk (sometimes refusing to walk). I've read reviews saying the wellbeing of your animals is your top priority but that has to be a straight up lie. The horses that were walking around without saddles on had open wounds on their backs. The only positives were the views and our fantastic tour guide. But still as a horse owner it broke my heart and I will never come back and support this. I also noticed along the ride some of the cows I saw were complete skin and bones and other employees looking straight up miserable. Do better.
