Went on the movie tour at Kualoa Ranch during the second week of April 2026. It was an hour drive from Waikiki on a Tuesday. We rented a car and did not take any shuttles or buses because we weren’t sure how many stops they would make on the way there and back and we were slightly impatient that day. The ranch is GORGEOUS and a must see, for sure. I went with a 7 year old child. We paid $155 CDN total and prepaid online. We still had to join the same queue as other guests who did not prepay to check in. Was it worth it? Yes, but not twice. We def would not go again and would rather take in other parts of Oahu via car. Was it boring? Slightly. Our tour guide seemed knowledgeable about the property itself. Some of his jokes were ok. I understand this is not a comedy show. However, if you aren’t a movie fanatic, you might prefer the tour guide just be quiet while driving around so you can observe the ranch without the satire and take your pics for your memories. Once you start driving on the tour bus, there is no washroom break. Therefore, use it before you go. There are souvenirs, snacks, and seating area away from the shade. The washrooms are also clean. Best tour ever! We were really excited to do it and it didn't dissapoint. We did the Hollywood tour with Sam and it was the best experience, he was the best guide! :)

Went zip lining and ran by a bunch of kids who are just inappropriate and joking around entire time cussing around. they are pretty rude and will keep stopping to tell everyone to deal with it or leave and if uncomfortable then go and everyone just looking at each other confused. Didn’t make the experience enjoyable at all they will just pick on people and make them say personal things to try to get everyone to engage but instead just made everyone more reserved and uncomfortable. I lived here all my life and almost every local I know has had a bad experience here

We visited Kualoa Ranch on an April weekday. We opted for the grown tour and our guide was very informative .He explained all the farming process in the land along with the crops they cultivate yearly. We stopped by for some samples of pineapple and poi. Would definitely recommend.

My review is based on just visiting the gift shop. Next time I come, will do an activity and review accordingly. I've been to this gift shop before and it has not changed. It is dark and not really inviting, looks somewhat rundown and the staff was busy socializing with each other rather than interact with visitors. The cafeteria was closed and they still have 2 hours till the ranch closed so who knows how's what that was all about. There r many tv and movies shot here but from what I saw, only Jurassic Park items were being sold, no LOST for example. Parking was free and plenty, washrooms were decent.

What an amazing experience!! I hadn’t been on a bike in years & was anxious about the tour. Our guide, Will, was so patient, kind & encouraging! He is what made our experience so phenomenal! He was a wealth of knowledge, giving us much history as we did our bike tour! We learned much about the ranch & the Hawaiian culture while having fun! #THANKFUL!!

My family visited in November. Did the half day tour that included Ocean Voyage and movie set tour. The ranch was beautiful but they changed up the ocean voyage tour because a boat was broken. We weren’t told about this until we were on the bus on the way to the boat. Instead of a 30 minute cruise on a catamaran it was a 15 minute ride on a glass bottom boat. We wish we were given the option to cancel because the whole point of going on the tour was to be on a catamaran. It was super short and then we had to wait around for the other half of the group while the tour guide tried to entertain us with stories of why he got different tattoos. All I could think is “I can’t believe I paid this much money to wait around here and listen to his tattoo stories.” The movie set tour was nice and the ranch was beautiful and there were many other activities to do there but I think I would rather spend the $$$ somewhere else. They were very organized and I don’t blame the tour guide for the bad experience but rather whoever changed up the tour and didn’t give us a chance to cancel. Update: I did reach out to the customer service email given twice, once right after the visit and also after the Ranch’s response, but haven’t heard back yet.

有名観光スポットで映画の世界そのままでとても感動しました！！！ 迫力がある景色とジュラシックワールドで見たのと全く同じ景色で壮大でした(^^) その他にも撮影した映画の紹介など5時間くらいいましたが飽きませんでした＾＾ 同じ敷地内でいろんなアクティビティーがあり、バギーで走り回るのも予約して体験しました^_^途中スコールで泥だらけになりましたが楽しかったです^_^ 午前と午後と2つ体験できるので映画関係と乗馬やバギーなどのアクティビティーをお勧めします！！！ 服装は汚れてもいい服で行く方がスコールなどに対応しやすいですし山と芝生が多いので靴もかなり汚れると思います(^^) 日本では絶対体験できない所なので一回は行く事をおすすめします^ - ^

A must stop when I'm Oahu. Don't miss out on the amazing zipline tour, the crew is amazing and the views are from another world there's a reason so many movies have been filmed here.
