Get tickets online to avoid lines. Try visiting during week days. We took movie tour and it turned out to be great. It was great also because od our excellent tour-guide - Sam! Beautiful place - worth visiting!

What an amazing experience at Kualoa Ranch! We travelled from the UK and this was on our bucket list of things to do. We booked around 3 months in advance and I would certainly recommend booking early. We booked the 2 hour UTV Raptor Tour. On arrival it took around 30 minutes to check in and head to our Raptors. When they say you need to wear goggles and a neck gator, PAY ATTENTION - it is dusty and will go in your eyes!! You will also get quite dirty so wear old clothes. We traversed the mountains and learnt all about the history of the ranch with an amazing tour guide, we stopped around 4 times for different photo opportunities along the way. Note that there is nowhere to get water or use the restroom along this tour so I would suggest bringing a bag with water bottles to take on your raptor. All in all an amazing day, and we would return in a heartbeat. Also GREAT FOOD in the gift shop, I am dairy free and had the most amazing veggie chilli and rice, 10/10.

A very well organised tour. Did the movie sites tour and it was great. The guide was fantasic too. Maybe more signs showing scenes in the movie would be helpfull too. Ranch is pretty as well. The bus from waikiki is also very well organised and convient. The cafe has lots of food offerings as well

I’m giving the Jurassic Adventure Tour a 3/5 because I personally don’t think it was worth it for $315 (two people after taxes). This is a long tour, we left the pick up area at 12:45 pm and got back at around 3:20 pm. Our guides, Peter and Zan were amazing, they were very knowledgeable and super friendly. However, the experience itself is not worth it. This specific tour takes you around the Ranch to about five different areas where the movie was shot. However, the only area that was actually impressive was the set where they shot the Jurassic Adventure dinosaur enclosure (picture below). Everything else was just open areas where the movie was shot and some prop “buildings” that are still present at this location. They need to update their tour sound system as well, you can barely hear the guides as you ride the truck since it’s very squeaky and loud. The ranch is gorgeous, so many different activities but I would not recommend this specific tour (Jurassic Adventure Tour) as I think you may be able to get something more affordable and somewhat see just about the same things we saw on this expensive one. I also didn’t appreciate the fact that they don’t give military discount upfront when purchasing the tickets online, you have to “get a refund” of a % when you actually get there (which we ended up forgetting about).

Family of 7 from Australia. We went on the UTV tour. Noah and James were our guides and were both awesome. They were fun, informative and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The views were spectacular and we got plenty of opportunities to take amazing photos. Would definitely do it again!

BEAUTIFUL! Horse back riding tour: they are SUPER strict on weight limit and weigh you at check in. My husband was 5 pounds over and they wouldn’t let us ride. They were nice enough to switch us to the Zip Lining tour. Zip lining: AMAZING and worth the money. Took us a total of 3 hours. Tour guides were fun and knowledgeable. 7 zip lines and two bridges. Zip lines get longer as you go. Minimal hiking. They have several water stations posted throughout the tour with cold water. Was allowed to wear a fanny pack on the zip line. 20 minute ride out to the zip line to enjoy the views of the ranch and you get to see the movie sites along the way. Views all the way through are beautiful. Transportation available from Waikiki and very organized. Bus was very nice and the ranch handed us our tickets when we arrived.

Following an issue, we were unable to attend the activity. I asked for a refund or to be placed on another activity instead. Their only response was, “Sorry, we don’t offer refunds—you had a reserved slot and didn’t show up.” So yes, I paid $325 for an activity and, thankfully, the slot was reserved… but in the end, no activity, no refund, no alternative—and I lost $325. The customer service is absolutely terrible.

We had great fun on our movie and ocean tours and we were well looked after with our 1 year old by the tour guides.
