The scenery and views were amazing. The movie sets are torn down right after they film. You’re just looking at where they were. It felt like a hokey tourist trap. Not accessible for wheelchairs. We got my daughter on the tour bus, but my daughter and another lady couldn’t get off the bus at the stops. I would not recommend if you have any kind of mobility issues. Two stars because it was a pretty location.

One star for the inhospitable bus ride. It was overcrowded and despite there being 4 empty seats at the front the bus driver grudgingly decided to only open up 2 of them.

One of the coolest experiences on the island. We did the movie sites and ranch tour and had a fantastic guide, very pleasant, lovely voice, super knowledgeable of all the movies filmed there, he played good music during the tour. It was a great vibe. Once we got to the Jurassic Park movie location he played the famous movie theme when the scientists first see the dinosaurs and it had such a nice effect. I would 100% visit the ranch again. What a place! Definitely book tickets in advance cause it sells out so quickly.

This is only speaking about the secret beach experience we did, but it was fun! They have lots of activities on the beach, the only feed back I could give them was needs more loungers and beach chairs!

“Secret Island Beach is not a secret”. That is a quote from a little boy walking in front of us. We were crammed in on a bus and taken to a “secret island beach” where every chair was taken and the water was more packed than public beaches. They make you swim in the buoy lines and yell on a bullhorn every 4 minutes when someone floated out of the boundaries. The wind was blowing making it near impossible for people to stay in the lines. It would have made more sense for them to post the lifeguard at the buoy to remind them instead of disturbing the whole beach every 4 minutes. My daughter and I grabbed the paddle boards and went over to our chairs. The changing room was right behind us and we went in to adjust our swimming suits before going out. While we were in there, the male lifeguard came over to my husband who was not the culprit of leaving the boards on the beach and chewed him out for “reserving” unused boards and said if someone wasn’t on the board in 10 seconds he was taking them back. My husband explained we had just ran to the changing room right behind us but he took the boards and left after causing a scene and embarrassing my husband. People were watching. Honestly, it ruined our time. We understand now that we should have walked the boards all the way back to the opposite side of the beach before we ran into the changing room for a couple of minutes, but if he would have come and said it nicely to my husband, it wouldn’t have been an issue. It was just an embarrassing way to start the time. We ended up just sitting in our chairs for the time, afraid if we left those unused, he would gripe at us again. Which, btw, as soon as he got the boards back to the stand, there were other returned boards, so there wasn’t a big need for the scene. Also, you can’t get the perfect picture at the end of the docks because boats are docked there. Beautiful, yes, but if you want to deal with a grouchy lifeguard and an overcrowded beach, this is your place. 😢 Sad because it was the thing I was looking forward to the most. Maybe try the Ko’Olina coves instead. Just buy a chair and stay as long as you want. Cheaper and less people.

Friendly staff all around and very knowledgeable. Did the jungle tour & it was very informative and included some movie areas as well. The acai bowl at the cafe is tasty and they also have premade sandwiches. Parking is very easy as well no isssues

We had a great time zip lining. DJ, JEN, and Elisha and truck guide with her new knees were all great. DJ was funny with his best view of the day joke. We all laughed. Safety was #1, my harness had an issue towards last zip line. Whole team was on it and switched me out fast. I was impressed. What a fun activity. Thanks Kualoa ranch. Beach park across the street was awesome too.
