We loved visiting Kualoa Ranch and getting to see some of our favorite movie and TV show locations up close. There are multiple tour options that give you the opportunity to explore so much of the beautiful mountainside, and we were in awe most of the time. We specifically booked the Movie Sites & Ranch Tour as well as the Ocean Voyage Adventure Tour. Both tours are about 1.5 hours long, cost around $60 per person, and offer some level of interaction with the area. Our tour guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, entertaining, and passionate about sharing the history of the ranch. They made the experience even better and left us wanting more time to explore. We also stopped by the onsite restaurant for both breakfast and lunch, which made this a full-day trip for us. If you’re coming from Honolulu, I’d highly recommend renting a vehicle rather than relying on Uber. The rideshare prices fluctuate a lot throughout the day, and by the time we factored in round trips, the cost was close to the same as renting, but without the convenience of having our own transportation. We would have loved to grab lunch across the street at the public beachside park, but unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time between our tours to make the walk there and back. Overall, Kualoa Ranch is stunning. The scenery is breathtaking, the history is fascinating, and the entire experience is worth it. While there are a few areas of the facilities that could use updating, the ranch’s 175-year history speaks for itself and makes this a must-visit destination.

Driving through some of my favorite movies on the UTV tour was so fun. I would honestly love to work on the ranch and help run tours. Regretting missing the casting call for 'Tears of the Sun' two decades ago when I lived on Oahu and just now finally visiting the ranch.

I had previously done the movie tour before so I was glad we chose the utv tour this time! I took my two older kids (13 and 11) and I drove the vehicle. It was super fun to drive. We stopped several times to take photos and learn about the property and fun facts about some of the movie sets.

Die Landschaft ist sehr eindrucksvoll und sehenswert. Was aber gar nicht geht: wir hatten eine Hollywood-Tour gebucht, bei der man in einem Oldtimer-Bus zu Filmschauplätzen gefahren wird. Dort wurden wir auch gefahren, aber in zwei kleinen offenen Trucks, so eine Art Safari-Aufbau hinten. Das war so nicht abgesprochen. Und was noch nicht geht, dass man dort über ca. 20 Gitter im Boden fährt, damit die dort weidenden Tiere in ihren Bereichen bleiben. Die Übergännge sind in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und man ist sehr großen Schlägen ausgesetzt. Das ist für schwangere Frauen zum Beispiel eindeutig zu viel. Das sollten die Veranstalter vor Ort und die Anbieter in Deutschland unbedingt vorher kenzeichnen als "nur für gelände-taugliche Personen ohne Einschränkung" oder ähnliches. Auch für Personen mit Geh-Behinderung wäre dieser Ausflug zu viel.

Accidentally booked this tour while staying on a different island and didn’t realize until day of. Megan took great care of the issue and made sure we were refunded as we couldn’t make it to oahu. Very polite and and handled issue with professionalism.

Breathtaking views, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent tours. Our group split up and half did the 3-hour Zipline (for the adventurous ones!) and the other half did the Jungle Expedition, which was great for families with young kids. Well worth the visit. Book in advance.

Took the Jurassic Park tour. Was so fun!! Amazing tour guide (Trevy is believe was his name). Would have done more tours if we had time!

Different packages for activities. I choose the Movie Sites & Ranch Tour. I expected more attractions to see for the price of the tickets. But not really. This tour is not worth it. You just see a large space of land where some movies were filmed. Nothing interesting. 👎🏼 Buy tickets in advance and arrive 45min before. Parking is free. Bring Water, sunscreen and comfortable shoes

We booked the self driving UTV tour for the 3 of us. Lasted about 2.5 hours and had a great time sight seeing and learning about the history/movies made there. The views were stunning and we had great guides.
