We did the movie sites tour, it took about an hour and a half. It was really cool, got to see an old WW2 bunker, the boneyard from "Kong Skull Island" and multiple filming locations. Our guide was super helpful and took photos of us and even had a toy dinosaur where he made it look like it was attacking us lol. Gift shop had a lot and they also had locally made dog treats (the only ones we have found on our trip to the island)! They also have a small market shop where you can get fruit, chocolate and other stuff.

ジープのツアー(ラプターツアー)に参加しました。 開始が11時なので、45分前集合との事ですが、道が混んでいたので開始時間30分前に到着。 チケット売り場でQRコードを読んで紙のチケットをゲットします。開始の15分前に待ち合わせ場所に来てと言われて待ち場所に行きました。 ジープツアーということで、自分で運転できると思いきや、参加客のグループ10グループが集合時間に集められて、英語でのインストラクションが理解できる人とジャパニーズ、コリアン、その他英語でのインストラクションが聞けない人のグループに分けられ、我々と南米？カップルの2組の英語のインストラクションが理解できないグループに挙手したグループについては先導するドライバーさんの2台のトラックにそれぞれ乗せられ運転はできないとの事でした。 運転士さん2人のうち1人の方に自分で運転できないのかと聞いたところできないとの回答でしたが、その後何とか調整していただき、他の日本人グループがドライバーの車に乗り、我々は家族だけで私が運転できることになりました。 クアロアランチには日本人観光客が減っているためか、今回だけの運用かはわかりませんが、運転についての英語のインストラクションを1回で済ませるためなのか英語でのインストラクションが理解できないグループについては自分で運転できない(ドライバーさんが運転する車に同乗する形)仕様のようです。 我々のように自分で運転したいんだと英語で主張すれば、自分で運転させてくれるように変更してくれることもあるのかなと思いましたので、日本人観光客グループの方はご注意ください。 なお、運転はギアチェンジは不要(してはいけない)ゴーカードのような操作で非常に簡単でした。(笑) ドライバーがさんがいる車に家族で同乗しても、なんだかリラックスできないし、そもそも自分達で運転した方が楽しいので、ここはぜひ注意してください。 肝心の感想ですが、まさに映画のロケ地で使われたまんまの素晴らしい雄大な景色で、ハワイでしか見れない光景に家族とも大興奮でした。 ということで、上記をお気をつけの上、参加をお勧めします。

Amazing experience - one of the highlights of my trip. The scenery is incredibly beautiful and breathtaking but the tours made it that much better. I did the 90min Jungle Expedition Tour and everyone from the ticket booth to the tour guides were super friendly. I had the pleasure of having Ian as my guide and he was amazing. He was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable! He definitely made the experience more memorable. I wish the tour was longer but would highly recommend! Will be coming back next time

무조건 가얄 듯 싶습니다. 저희는 시간관계상 특별한 액티비티 없이 가서 초입구만 쓱 보기만 하고 왔는데 그게 그리 아쉽습니다ㅠ아이들 말도 태워주고 싶고 그랬는데..아흑..다음에는 무조건 입니다. 그리고 폴리네시안 문화센터랑 가까워요. 여기서 실컷 놀고 배고프시면 폴리네시안 문화센터 주차장에 있는 코리안바베큐 집에서 한그릇 하시면 아주 좋을 거 같네요ㅎㅎ

WARNING: PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. My family and I chose the half day package at Kualoa Ranch. This included a catamaran ride in the bay, lunch buffet, and movie site tour. We wanted to check this place out because of the stellar reviews and beautiful area. We wanted so badly to have a good time, but it was unbelievably underwhelming. I cannot speak for the other tour options they offer, but we were hoping for a lot more after spending $400 for our family of 3. The ONLY positive was the extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. You can see prettier places on island for free like the Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden. This place is a COMPLETE waste of money. Please please do not fall for this. It’s a complete rip off.

We did a half day movie and catamaran tour. About 1 hr 45 minutes on the movie part and 45 minutes on the water. We had a knowledgeable movie guide, but you have to have seen a whole lot of movies and have a good imagination to get the full benefit of the tour. The catamaran part was pretty much 15 minutes out and 15 back and it’s just scenic. Nothing particularly special. The fishing lagoon tour which was at the end was pretty interesting with some history and some additional commentary on movie sites around the lagoon. A half day was plenty. Our tour included a buffet lunch that included chicken, ribs, chili, and rice. It was pretty good.

We had a blast bebopping around Kualo ranch on the 2 hour UTV guided tour. It was my husband’s birthday, so we let him drive the entire time, and he loved it so much! The landscape was breathtaking and the guides were fabulous! Would recommend!

We took jungle and ocean trips. The jungle trip was wast of money and time. It’s better to take the Jurassic world or cinema tour I guess. The ocean trip was very nice

This ranch is famous for its use in many, many movies and TV shows. The tours of a working farm, with visible props and beautiful views are great. I suggest you take one of the ebike options, or a horse ride, you'll be much more in touch with the environment that way.
