Step onto the Columbia Icefield Skywalk and feel the thrill of walking on glass 1,000 feet above the Sunwapta Valley floor. This 1,312-foot-long (400-meter) glass-floored walkway offers unobstructed views of snow-capped mountains, glaciers, and valleys. Along the Skywalk, interpretive displays provide insights into the region's geology, ecology, and Aboriginal history. The journey includes a scenic transfer from the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre along the Icefields Parkway, renowned for its stunning mountain vistas. Don’t take glass drinks up there or food as it gets quite busy and squashy Buses were very frequent, staff were helpful Views were amazing
