Unforgettable Columbia Icefield Experience – Top-Tier Guides!
This tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Banff. What truly made this trip outstanding was the incredible team taking care of us. Our bus driver, Mateus, and tour guide, Eleanor, went above and beyond from start to finish to ensure the trip was a success. Their in-depth knowledge of the physical landscape, flora, and fauna was remarkable, and they shared it in a way that was engaging, authentic, and genuinely interesting rather than just reciting facts. Once we stepped onto the ice sheet, the excellence continued. We were handed off to Eoghan, an Irishman from Donegal whose expertise on the glacier was matched only by his brilliant sense of humor. Mateus, Eleanor, and Eoghan transformed a great itinerary into an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Bri and James were fantastic guides and made the day unforgettable. We saw so much, and the walk on the glacier was a bucket list experience.

This tour was fantastic! It was a thrill to ride on the Columbia Explorer and to actually step foot on a glacier. It was very cold and windy on the glacier but still exciting.
Excellent day out
A great trip and a convenient way to travel from Jasper to Banff and enjoy sights on the way. Driver and host were excellent - very informative and entertaining, and happy to stop for wildlife sightings. Picked up from our hotel in Jasper and dropped at our hotel in Banff, so very easy. We stopped at some lovely places and saw some great sights including the Athabasca waterfall and the Skywalk. Unfortunately we were unable to do the Glacier walk part of the trip due to Parks Canada closing outdoor activities in the area due to wildfire smoke, which was very unfortunate, but Brewster gave a refund for that part of the trip which we didn't expect. A buffet lunch was included and we also had a coffee/cookie stop. It was a long day of travelling, but didn't feel arduous because we saw such great scenery and sights.
Great trip but staff could be better
This is a great trip, with marvellous scenery and spectacular views. The coach was comfortable and the drive was smooth. Abby and Mary were our guide and driver. Mary just couldn’t stop talking over the PA and got pretty annoying! After lunch she said that she was going to leave us in quiet for an hour or so, but she only lasted 5 minutes! Abby was lovely but quite muddled in her commentary. Mary made a big deal over our drop off. We were booked into Mountaineer Lodge, which is not one of her usual stops and she said she was doing us a special favour in dropping us off there. She also made a thing of informing us all that Rocky Mountaineer tips are not shared with the Brewster excursions team.
