Visit a glacier…hell yeah!
Great experience, wonderful sights and incredible to be at a glacier…how often do you get to be on a glacier right?!?! Good value for money, set up is efficient and well run. It’s a bit of a faff getting on and off buses, but I don’t think they could do it any other way. Worth note is that from the glacier you go straight to sky walk bit…not back to the visitor centre.
Do the Glacier, skip the Skyview
Because we used TripAdvisor we had to go through the line to get actual tickets. The experience was great out on the ice (wear warm clothing and waterproof shoes!) and our guide (Archie/NZ) was great. All ran smooth. The Skywalk thing is a let down. Not really interesting and the views are not great.
A must-see adventure
Our tour guide was Aaron S., and he was amazing. He was fun and entertaining and made the trip memorable. The entire experience was very good, from cking in for the tour to the views from the glacier and skywalk. Would definitely recommend as a must-see adventure.
Fun and informative glacier experience.
So much nicer than anticipated. Shauna was a wonderful ice explorer driver and guide. She taught us many things in the short time we were with her and I felt safe with her at the wheel of this enormous machine. We also did the Columbia Skywalk and Chrystal was our guide. She was very knowledgeable about so many topics, the glaciers and water flow, the animals and birds and the details of the skywalk itself. Owen our driver was also very informative. I will always know what a braided river was a now. I also want to give a little shout out to “Gracie who knits sweaters”. So nice to chat with you during my Skywalk experience. Also, learned the difference between Grizzly and Black Bear paw prints during your demonstration.
Great tour
The glacier explorer and skywalk were great, particularly our guide Eoghan on the explorer really elevated the experience.
