Learned something!

This is my fifth time to visit the Coliseum (over 46 years), and I still learned new information thanks to our well informed guide - he was excellent. In this summer’s heat, he carefully choose shady spots to give his longer explanations and was very patient in answering our questions. The Coliseum is still a wonder to behold.

I would have given this 5...

I would have given this 5 stars but our tour was changed to an early time (not golden hour) and for whatever reason we were no longer able to go to the colosseum floor due to what was called logistic reasons. They did add on the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. Our tour guide did a good job.

A tour guide you want!

Mary was our tour guide for the coliseum and she was absolutely fantastic. Our party of 3 noticed how attentive she was to the needs of the group at every turn. She clearly has a passion for her beautiful city and its history. She was warm, genuine and went above and beyond what we would have expected. We paid attention to other tour guides as we mingled in the crowds and her caring presence made her stand out compared to the other guides we heard. We were very impressed and highly recommend her as a guide. Grazie, Mary!!

Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. This is the last entrance of the day to the colosseum, the tour inside the monument will last for 1-hour followed by a walking tour from the outside of the Roman Forum and Imperial Forum. Upon choosing our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept that the admission fee to the archaeological sites is 22 euros for adults, accompanied by a 2 EUR booking fee, and free admission ticket for children under 18. The remaining amount is voluntary and includes services provided by skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. Our goal is to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, allowing you to fully recognize the value of our guided experience. Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
