The Ring of Beara.

The trip is unique and off the beaten path. The towns are working towns full of charm. The people are friendly and accommodating. The views of the peninsula are awe inspiring. Our driver, Peter was knowledgeable, fun and he let us make it “our journey”. He let us take our time and answered all of our questions. Highly recommended.

Lovely, Wild Ireland!

The Ring of Beara can only be accessed by the boldest of drivers...or in our case, Piotr! The weather was just as wild and untamed as the landscape. Piotr allowed for a customized tour, so we focused on stone circles, a visit to Castletownbere, a cable car to Dursey Island and a meal stop at Allihies. This was by far the highlight of our trip! Piotr was an excellent guide and provided great insight into the history, flora, and fauna of Ireland. I would highly recommend this private tour with Piotr!

We had a fantastic day....

We had a fantastic day. Our guide, Peter, was fantastic and gave us ample time to see the sights and enjoy different areas of the ring. He was very considerate of our 7 year old son and customized our tour to fit our needs. We can’t recommend this tour enough.

Grand

Uragh Stone Circle is one of the most mystical places I've come across. The photo does not do it justice Situated between two lakes, surrounded by a natural amphitheatre of volcanic mountains facing the sea on the Northern shore of the fabulous Beara Peninsula, it must have inspired Neolithic people with awe and reverence. I'm surprised it was not replaced by an early Christian church.
