Fire dancers were amazing, food was subpar, any location on the ocean would be better.

They do list that it’s at an amusement park or waterpark, which unfortunately is not conducive to a luau. But I knew that going in The pork was tasty, but the food was easily the worst part of it. It clearly had been made a long time ago it was colder room temperature if you will, but the most disturbing thing is that it didn’t smell like anything you couldn’t smell any food and that made it seem extra made a long time ago. The fish tasted more like egg and was probably cooked a long time ago. In that the batter was mush. The chicken was dry as There was no haupia, which is a coconut pudding in Hawaii and that was a bummer. The food was just super underwhelming. And we did the paradise tier. For the entertainment that was a B, with the exception of the fire dancers who were stupendous. A+plus on the fire dancers. This was not my first luau. And I would honestly say that I wouldn’t recommend it. That hurts my heart, cause Lord knows we paid a ton for it. And while the entertainment was solid, the food wasn’t. And come on. should be really good for what is for many, a once in a lifetime experience.hell. Rice was fine. The barbecue pork in the noodles was fine and the star was definitely the pork.

A rip off that is a a water slide park, enough said.

This luau had positive reviews because it once was at a different location when the chief was much younger. This luau cost just under $900 for a family of 4. We got the transportation part and although the bus from Robert’s of Hawaii is decent, this driver would not stop talking for the full 1 hour ride there. Really bad and sad and rude jokes that set a bad start to the whole evening. Trying to put that past us when we arrived, we were immediately herded like cattle into a water slide park and directed into a corner of it with astroturf and a waterfall that looked like it was just diverted from one of the water slides. Drink tickets were included and we had to wait in a line that had 2 people serving drinks with about 30 people waiting in each line. The tickets included limited selections of about 4 options or you could buy a frozen drink for $30 each. Obviously the included drinks were weak and poor in flavor. At one point an additional waitress appeared for about 5 minutes until she walked away to feed stray cats off to the side of the line. The line for drinks took so long that they started telling people to go get food at the buffet while tons of people were still waiting for drinks. Buffet was as poor as you could possibly imagine. I have had much better quality and flavorful food the last time I was in the hospital. Chief runs the show with a bunch of hundred year old jokes and many seem sexist and dated. Dancing was ok and only positive was the fire dancing at the end. Can’t believe we wasted almost $1000 dollars on this sad event. But again, we should have read that this is at a water slide park now and no longer waterfront with actual freshly prepared food. We have been to a luau 2 other locations and both were light years better than this one. Please learn from our mistake and go to any other luau or just save you money for absolutely anything else you can book while in Hawaii.
