Itinerary

1

Explore the Wonder Before the Crowds One of the biggest advantages of this tour is our early arrival to Chichén Itzá, before most large tour buses reach the site. This allows you to explore the ancient city during the cooler morning hours, avoiding the intense heat and large crowds that arrive later in the day. Your certified bilingual guide will lead you through the most important areas of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, including El Castillo (Temple of Kukulcán), the Great Ball Court, and the Temple of the Warriors, while sharing fascinating stories about Maya astronomy, architecture, and culture. The guided portion lasts about 1 hour, followed by 1 hour of free time to walk around, take photos, and experience the magic of this New Seven Wonder of the World at your own pace. Total time at Chichén Itzá: approximately 2 hours.

Discover the stunning Cenote Saamal, a massive open-air cenote located inside the historic Hacienda Selva Maya. Surrounded by towering limestone walls, lush vegetation, and a small natural waterfall, its crystal-clear waters create one of the most breathtaking swimming spots in the Yucatán. Here you can swim, relax, or simply enjoy the atmosphere at your own pace. You’ll also have time to enjoy a buffet of traditional Yucatecan cuisine served inside the beautiful hacienda, offering a more authentic and comfortable experience than the typical roadside restaurant stops.

Duration: 2 hoursAdmission: YES

Our final stop is the beautiful town of Valladolid, one of the most charming colonial cities in the Yucatán Peninsula. Here you’ll enjoy free time to walk through the historic center, admire the colorful colonial buildings, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional Mexican town. The main square is surrounded by lively streets, local shops, and the iconic San Servacio Church, located right in the heart of the city. Valladolid is known for its vibrant colors, authentic culture, and laid-back charm, making it the perfect place to take photos, grab a coffee, or simply enjoy a pleasant stroll before returning.

This was a great...

This was a great excursion. You get to see some amazing sites. Keep in mind if you are including hotel pick up it adds time to the tour. It's a long day so be prepared. Overall a great experience both the guide and bus driver were great. If you are going during the summer, the umbrella is recommended to provide you shade, not necessarily for rain.

Great experience

Visiting Chichén Itzá was an incredible experience. Cesar, our tour guide, provided an amazing explanation of Mayan history and culture. Throughout the tour, we were well taken care of.

Get out of Cancun and see real Mexico!

Rafa the tour guide was great. Very informative and funny. The buffet and cenote was my favorite. My only complaint was there was 10 guests (3 groups) that thought they were special and went back into cenote to swim as we had to get out due to thunderstorms which is out of tours control while the rest of the group was back on time and was stuck waiting for them past our meeting time, extending all of our tour way too long which is not fair to guests and especially guide and driver. I would implement an accountability system where you get a 5 min grace period but then are charged $5/minute you’re late like they do at daycares and that money goes straight to the guide and driver for extending their work day cuz I didn’t even see the ppl apologize or tip

Great Trip!

WELL WORTH IT!!! The staff are great and attentive, lunch was great and the excursions were a straight forward and as expected. We didn’t pay for drinks, but those who did were served continuously throughout the trip, including beer. The pick up and drop-off no issues. Hotels charge almost twice as much. Big shout out to Manuel the driver, Marco the main guide, and Marfe the all around help!!! Kudos to this staff!
