Our entertaining guides bring the area's rich past to life. Though originally residential, markets have thrived here since the 1840s. By the 1930s, the Meatpacking District produced the nation’s 3rd-largest volume of dressed meats. While trendy spots now dominate, five meatpacking companies remain as the neighborhood constantly evolves. Good food with the right amount of information. First 2 hours were the tastings and the last was a walk along the High Line.
