Food, fun, & history

Gordon was an amazing guide! He knew so much about the history of the city and the restaurants. The food was delicious! It was a wonderful way to try multiple places for a short visit to Charleston. Would definitely do again!

Was not seafood heavy.

Our guide Caitlin was amazing, a friendly, very kind but this was most definitely not seafood heavy and very disappointing from the other food tours I’ve experience with that company.

Gordon is excellent

Small group. Excellent food. Even better commentary from Gordon. He brings in food expertise as well as Charleston history and flavor.

Great tour with Andrew!

I had a wonderful time on this Food tour. The food was outstanding — the shrimp & grits were a real highlight, and the she-crab soup was the best I’ve tasted anywhere in the Lowcountry. Andrew, our guide, brought everything to life with his stories, local insights, and easy sense of humor. He created such a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that people naturally started chatting, connecting, and even exchanging cards by the end. It felt like the perfect balance of great food, interesting history, and genuinely good company.

Worth the time and money

My girls' group did a walking food tour with Diane of Bulldog Tours, and it was fabulous! You get a little history and inside stories, as well as tasting a range of local fare. Highly recommend!
