Traveler reviews
Great tour guide!
The tour guide Bruce was great! My son loved him. Very knowledgeable of the ship and all of the wonder it had to offer.
Exciting Trip
Very entertaining and Bruce Oar was very informative and funny.
We loved it! Amazing tour through history and ghost stories added in! Our guide Bruce was so knowledgeable/ personable.
This is a must do for everyone!! A little physical regarding climbing stairs/ladders so be aware of that. The aircraft carrier was amazing, several vintage airplanes, and a few ghosts!
Really cool!
Our group varied in age from 12-60 and everyone enjoyed this tour. My grandfather served in the Navy during the era of this ship and it was really neat to explore and imagine him living and working on a similar ship. I would love to come back and see it during the day as well! Our tour guide was Dustin and he was great. We really loved his stories and personality. Fun guy! You can tell how passionate he is about this ship. Seeing the ship at night and seeing the view of Charleston from the flight deck was breathtaking. Our 12 year old girl really liked seeing all the planes, which surprised us as she never showed an interest before - so this ship unlocked something new for her and that’s so cool!
Keep history alive
Our tour guide, Justin was incredibly well-versed about the history of USS Yorktown. The ship is really wonderful and definitely worth a tour. It gets a little warm in some parts but not unbearable.
