Full description
Escape Aix-en-Provence for a full-day journey combining Provence’s coastline and wine culture. Travel through scenic countryside to the charming fishing port of Cassis, famous for its colorful harbor and dramatic Calanques cliffs. Enjoy a boat excursion along the Mediterranean coast to admire turquoise waters and limestone inlets before exploring the village at your own pace. Later, visit a local Provence winery where guided tastings introduce fresh rosé, red, and white wines shaped by the region’s sunny climate and maritime influence. This small-group experience offers the perfect balance between nature, relaxation, and authentic Provençal flavors.
Discover Cassis and the Calanques Coast
Located between vineyards and the Mediterranean Sea, Cassis is one of Provence’s most picturesque coastal villages. Its lively harbor, pastel-colored houses, and dramatic limestone cliffs create a striking contrast between sea and mountains. The nearby Calanques National Park is renowned for its fjord-like inlets, turquoise waters, and spectacular coastal scenery.
During your visit, enjoy a boat excursion departing from Cassis harbor to explore the Calanques from the sea — the best way to appreciate these natural formations inaccessible by road.
Provence Wine Discovery
After exploring the coastline, continue into the surrounding vineyards where Mediterranean sunshine and sea breezes produce fresh, aromatic wines. Visit a carefully selected local estate within the Cassis or Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellations and enjoy guided tastings introducing Provence rosé alongside red and white wines.

Reviews
Great experience, guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Victor brought us around the different sites and showed us so many cool sites
Alex was the most experienced, knowledgeable, and chilled tour guide of all the 5 tour guides we experienced. We learned a lot from him about the culture, history, and geology of the region. He also provided great context to understand the regions' wines. This tour to Cassis and the calanques was beautiful and would get a 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that this expensive tour did not include lunch. The wine tasting was good but I had better in Bordeaux and it included lunch.
Matt was an awesome tour guide. His passion for D-day made the experience that much better. He was very knowledgeable. Even my children were glued to his every word. Great experience!
Additional information
In case of unfavorable weather conditions, the boat excursion may be replaced by an alternative scenic experience such as Cosquer Cave visit in Marseille while maintaining the overall quality of the tour.
