The Reggia of Caserta, a jewel in southern Italy, was built in 1750 by Bourbon King Charles of Naples. This royal palace features 1,200 lavish rooms and gardens that rival European contemporaries. Der Startpunkt Fondamenta Cossetti, draußen zwischen Bahnhof und Busbahnhof, ist nicht gut. In dieser Gegend gibt es keine engen Kanäle - eine halbwegs idyllische Fahrt darf man sich nicht erwarten.
