Traveler reviews
Lovely day of swimming at Lake Vouliagmeni, snorkeling in a beach and seeing the Temple of Poseidon
My husband, our three kids and I just got back from this tour and had an amazing time. Olive Sea Travel was extremely communicative before the tour and answered all the questions we had. Tolis was our wonderful driver and he was extremely punctual, helpful and accommodating. The car was clean, comfortable and air conditioned, which was much appreciated. We were picked up right by our hotel close to the Acropolis Museum and drove to Lake Vouliagmeni first, where we spent a few hours swimming in the lake, relaxing and eating. Then we continued down the coast to the Temple of Poseidon which is stunning to see. My kids really wanted to swim so we were lucky enough to find a spot at Paralia Souniou amidst the crowds. We were worried about finding a spot since it was very hot, a Sunday and therefore super crowded, but with Tolis’ help, we were able to find a place on the beach amidst the crowds. The water was extremely clear and my kids had fun snorkeling. You have a nice view of the Temple of Poseidon as well. We had a late lunch at the restaurant on the beach and then finally made the drive back to Athens. We are all happily exhausted. Loved doing this tour and would definitely recommend this to a friend.
