The construction of a water channel from the reservoirs in the north to El Chorro was carried out together with a path for maintaining the channel. This one is known as El Caminito del Rey (The King’s Little Pathway) because it was first opened by King Alfonso XIII. This path, about 3 kilometers long, has stretched of less than 1 meter wide and it is hanging about 100 meters high above the Guadalhorce River.

Amazing experience despite non-specific travel information.
Our tour guide, Pablo, was fantastic in every way. Unfortunately, the instructions given for the collection point lacked clarity- it would have helped to know which side of the road the collection was. Google maps was little help with the information provided.

Would recommend to a friend saying it's very safe with a friendly guide all the way through who is very safety conscious!!👍 Definitly recommend comfy but proper walking shoes plus sunglasses as sun can be quite dazzling in places obscuring the view!!👍 Again it was an excellent experience and would highly recommend it to a friend with the proviso of course that they didn't mind heights!!👍 Many thanks for the experience!! 👍🥰❤
