Itinerary
Experience the largest museum for ancient Egyptian art with its treasures from Egypt's great past such as the gold coffin of King Tutankhamun with all its elaborate and high-quality grave goods. Our tour guide will explain the most important exhibits to you in a humorous two-hour stay and answer your questions. Duration approx. 2 hours.
Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! You will find a total of three pyramids here: the Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos pyramids. You can discover the area on foot, on horseback or by camel. Duration between 2 and 3 hours.
After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The Sphinx was carved from the remainder of a limestone mound that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Duration approx. 20-30 minutes.
Felucca ride on the Nile. In consultation with the tour group for a fee. Duration approx. 30 minutes.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Pass by: If we have time, we can make two signature visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)

It was a beautiful day in Cairo. We would be picked up at the hotel on time and taken to the airport. Our guide was already waiting for us there. We were lucky that there were only three of us and so had the time to learn a lot of interesting things. Our guide shared his extensive knowledge with us. Special requests were also addressed. We would definitely book with you again. Thanks again to the driver who came to our hotel the next day especially to bring us our grandson's phone , that he had left in the car.

Great Day in Cairo
We went on a trip to Cairo by plane with Book Tour Egypt. The pick up from the hotel was almost on time and took us to the airpot without any other stop. After the flight we got picked up by our guide, who was friendly and gave us a lot information. We were lucky, cause we were only 6 Persons on the tour. We visited the Egyptian Museum in Cairo first, had lunch, visited the pyramids, did a Nile river cruise, visited a shop and luckily the Chan el-Chalili Bazaar in the old town fo Cairo, then back to the airport. After we landed our driver already waited for us and drove us back to our hotel. I would recommend to take the plane for long trips in egypt. You save a lot of time and back pain from the busses.

We had a wonderful day in Cairo.. our guide Hussein, who explained and presented everything to us with extreme dedication and know-how,and our driver were really great. All the explanations and also the transport to the airport, the flights and also the ride service in Cairo went so smoothly, I have rarely experienced this before.
