Itinerary
Pass by: Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.
Meet your Egyptological tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process.

The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Pass by: Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.

Cairo / pyramids day trip by plane from Hurghada
I’m overall happy with experience I had today from Hurghada to Cairo / pyramids. Picked up from Hurghada hotel by minibus to aeroport, then flight with AirCairo to Cairo airport. Then tour guide pick us up from airport exit straight to minibus and then we drove to the pyramids complex. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful in English regarding history and info related to sites we visited. Then we drove to a restaurant (all inclusive) to ate, followed by drive to Cairo new museum. We spend couple of hours, followed by drive to a boat trip to river Nile. After that, minibus took us back to Cairo airport and we took flight back to Hurghada (minibus dropped us from Hurghada airport back to our hotel). I recommend this tour.

Very pleased with experience I had today, visiting pyramids, sfinx and new grand museum. Guide was really helpful in English and made the most of the day.

A great day on Cario with our guide Jimmy. We were a family of grandparents and children as young as 2. A perfect day for all and Jimmy was an excellent host. Very knowledgable and helpful. Would definitely recommend this trip to anybody who is planning a visit to Cario

Don’t hesitate to book! This trip was great we travelled with our 3 year old and 10month old and our friends and their kids and despite the negative reviews you may read I didn’t think it was at all that bad my recommendation is go early to avoid the heat as there is not that many shaded areas it’s 50/50 pram friendly in areas obviously not ideal by pyramids which can be expected but there are board walk areas for easy access. The organisation was exactly as we was told our tour guide Achmed was super friendly and very informative and fun with the facts of all Egyptian history, we found him super helpful navigating the markets to get best price for souvenirs and helped us avoid any unnecessary harassment by sellers simply give them a firm no maybe three times. Overall highly recommend to book you won’t be disappointed.
