Itinerary
Before the tasting tour, you can enjoy some free time at Butterfly Valley. Every year, at the end of the wet season (late May), thousands of butterflies attracted by the scent of the oriental sweet-gum trees cover the entire landscape. It's a very unique experience and you should definitely try to see it.
On this tour you will taste different wine varieties, extra-virgin olive oil from ancient olive trees (yes, you read it right - sample the same oil that our ancestors used centuries ago), and local natural honey infused with thyme, pine, orange blossom and different spring flowers.

Honey and wine a treat. Butterfly valley outstanding.
Absolutely amazing trip, even though it was too early in the season to see the butterflies, but the valley is worth visiting anyway with all the lovely waterfalls. Who knew a Bee museum was a thing?? It was really interesting and bought lots of honey. The olive oil tasting was interesting…. There’s only so much olive oil you can swallow. But the wine tasting was the highlight. Thanks to Yulia and Nicola as tour guides. A small group of 5 of us and we had some laughs. Highly recommend
Beautiful tour of Rhodes!
Such a wonderful tour of the island! It was just the right pace and our guide gave us plenty of time at each stop! We saw much of the island and was very impressed with his knowledge! I would definitely recommend the tour!!!
Really excellent day trip, went to a lot of places and learned a lot about Rhodes
The tour was really excellent. It was early in the season, so just me and my partner on the event, but they were still very happy to run it just for the both of us. The tour guide was flexible and gave us just as much time on each stop as we liked. The tour was very well organised and all the stops were really good. Would definitely recommend and use this operator again.

We had an amazing time on this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rhodes. The transfers to and from our hotel were well organised, making the whole experience stress-free and giving us the chance to explore places we might not have seen otherwise. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day even more enjoyable. The Valley of the Butterflies was stunning—much larger than we expected—and even at the end of the season, we saw plenty of butterflies. It’s such a beautiful place that we could have happily spent even more time there. The wine tasting was also a highlight, giving us the chance to learn a lot about local wine production and taste lots of varieties. The Bee Museum was compact but full of information. We discovered how beekeeping has developed over time, why bees are so important, and enjoyed sampling several types of local honey.

I'm not in habit of leaving remove reviews on trip advisor but felt I needed to let people know that a fantastic experience I had. From the very first minute I booked the tour, the communication from Half Price Tours was second to none. The pickup from the hotel was seamless and the tour itself was informative with being boring. Stellios is a credit to your team! The way he handled the more challenging guests was Impressive. The butterfly valley was better than I had imagined. The oil and wine tasting was great ( I would like to revisit the winery again and do one of their other experiences.) The bee museum finished the day off nicely. I will be certainly recommending this company.
