The views were beautiful...
The views were beautiful from the boat. Service was pretty good. Had to pay for own drinks after one glass of Prosecco each. Disappointed we missed out seeing the live music entertainment performance, it was inside apparently. We didn’t hear or see it from outside on the deck. We were informed it was on and it was a live performance. The ticket I got said music and drinks. I thought it was going to be just some tunes playing in the back ground. When we were leaving there were the two entertainers in their costumes saying goodbye and that’s how I knew we missed out on something that was good. Pity the staff on the boat didn’t inform us. 1hr 30mins is definitely long enough as the boat is pretty slow moving.
Danube cruise from Deck 6
On our first evening in Budapest, we booked on-site with the tour in question located at the entrance to the Chain Bridge. Let's debunk the myth that you need to book everything right away, otherwise you get anxious before leaving and don't enjoy anything. Just walk straight along the Danube and book on-site. I chose the 10:00 PM time slot, bought the tickets costing 13 euros per person, and we positioned ourselves at deck 6 to get in line to enter. Clearly, the seats at the top are to be preferred to admire the bridges and the Parliament illuminated. Fairy-tale!!
Wonderful cruise on the Danube
Wonderful experience, very well organized and pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful with whatever you asked of them. Everything great. Thank you very much 👌
Budapest with night views
A short enjoyable trip on the Danube, and going at night it brings the buildings to life with the great lighting everywhere. Music on board is live with a trio band and wonderful display of dancing done by a couple in national dress. Food is available at reasonable prices and good selection of drinks as well. The trip is over 90 minutes long but well worth it.
