Traveler reviews
Be aware of changes not mentioned by Viator
Be aware that if tide is low or windy you may NOT board ferry by ramp etc and will be taken to west beach to wade to longtail where no help to get into boat then have to step across gap from moving boat to ferry, ok for us but if you are nervous or have mobility issues could be traumatic
A convenient option for...
A convenient option for getting from Railay Beach to Ko Phi Phi. The ferry was scheduled to arrive at 9:45 AM and showed up about 15–20 minutes late, but nothing major. Since the ferry can’t dock at Railay due to shallow water, a long-tail boat takes passengers from the East Railay floating pier out to meet it. The transfer process worked fine, though it was a little chaotic and could be tricky if you’re traveling with small children, as you need to climb between the long-tail and the ferry. Overall, a simple and mostly stress-free way to make the trip.
Railay to phi phi
Good organized travel. Got a much bigger boat compared to the pictures, which gives the opertunity to upgrade to a VIP class when coming onboard for 200bht each. AC, toilets and a shop onboard.
Comfortable and reasonably quick trip
It was a comfortable trip in air conditioned cabin. You can buy snacks , drinks and coffee on board.
Quick, cheap transfer between Railay and Phi Phi
The boat was 30 minutes late and was over sold, so many people were left without a seat or space inside out of the sun. The ferry was quick and staff were friendly.
