Traveler reviews
A SPRINT Tour of Bogotá’s Historic Sites.
We booked a private tour for a reason—to be at our own pace while keeping within the 3-hr tour timeframe that included the 1-hr round trip from/to the hotel. While our tour guide Emilio seemed nice and very knowledgeable, we felt we were being rushed the whole time. He was mostly walking about 40-50 meters ahead of us, which we felt was rude. I had to call his attention several times to make him slow down, specially when it’s raining and parts of the surfaces we were walking on were wet and slippery. Though my wife walks with a cane and has some knee issues, she and I still walk a good pace as we’ve done short 3-hour tours before. Rushed walking made it dangerous for my wife who had to navigate some uneven surfaces on wet condition, but Emilio didn’t seem to care even after we called his attention several times. Also consider that we’re at a high elevation, so trying to catch up with him wasn’t easy at all. But we shouldn’t have to do the catching up. We were on a private tour! Emilio also kept looking at his watch as if he’d rather be somewhere else or have to be somewhere, which we did find out from him he had to go somewhere. We never really got to enjoy the sights posted on the itinerary, and took very few pictures because Emilio seemed like he wanted to do something else and we had to coax him to take a picture of us. We had to return to some of the sites on our own just so we can enjoy the sites we passed by and take pictures. We are on a 5-country South American trip and booked all private tours. This is the only one we felt rushed and didn’t enjoy at all. I tipped him nonetheless because we believe in treating people nice. Save your $100 and do the tour on your own. Researching the history and significance of the sites should to suffice if you want to learn more about the place.

Tychina and Alamo's 1st time in Bogotá for D's Birthday
My boyfriend chose this 3-hour city tour for his birthday, and it exceeded our expectations. The experience was both informative and enjoyable, and Camilo made it feel personal and engaging. His knowledge, professionalism, and friendly approach made the tour truly memorable. Highly recommended.
This tour was a great way...
This tour was a great way to see the old city center of Bogata. Our tour guide Maria was very knowledgeable about the area and showed us a good time.
