Maggie was great, she was a wealth of information and provided some obscure info normally not associated with the Dday invasion itself. The 4 hr tour was perfect for us.

Additional information

This tour is best for travelers who love scenic landscapes, charming towns and flexible exploring, and who prefer a relaxed private experience over a crowded bus tour. It’s ideal for couples, friends and families with older children who enjoy guided walking, light storytelling and plenty of photo stops rather than intense hiking or museum‑only days.

Curious visitors who appreciate culture, history and nature in equal measure—from Freiburg’s old town to tranquil Black Forest views—will get the most from this day, especially if they value comfort, door‑to‑door transport and time to tailor the itinerary to their own pace and interests.
