- MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
- MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
- Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
- Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Unforgettable Manta Ray Night Snorkel
What an amazing and breathtaking experience! Highly recommend! Our group had a great time and it was truly a one of a kind and beautiful sight to see. We did not know until we were told there that it is the only place in the world to experience Manta Rays like this which made the whole adventure even more special and worth every penny. The Hang Loose crew Jacob, Bruno and Vince were ON IT and took very good care of the entire boat group. Highly recommend renting a Go Pro from their team too. You will want to watch the videos over and over again.

Incredible experience! The Manta’s put on a great show for us. We were “face to face” with these gentle, giant creatures. Thank you to Capt. Ula and Caden for keeping us safe and making this a wonderful experience!

This was so much fun! Captain Bryce was amazing and hilarious! Great commentary and great crew Noah and Vince. This was an incredible experience and we had soooo many manta rays coming up to us! Highly recommend!
AMAZING! Once in a lifetime opportunity!
The AMAZING Night Manta Ray snorkel trip conjured up so many feelings: a recommitment to the health of oceans and safety for marine life, a feeling of love for the Mantas, a sense of the playfulness of these creatures as I came literally eye to eye as they turned somersaults inches from my face. The physical requirements for this are: a comfort in ocean water (calm sea the whole time), an understanding of your swimming ability (flotation devices provided for week swimmers), wearing a snorkel mask and snorkel, a 20ft swim (no fins allowed) and an ability to hold onto a floating viewing station. The station is oblong and accommodates about 12 - 20 guests. The floating viewing station lights the water, attracting millions of plankton, and the manta rays come from all direction and begin a feeding ballet. It is breathtaking. I did come away from it completely moved by the experience. There’s a reason some travel magazines / websites consider it a Top Ten Global Experience. This type of excursion is only on the Big Island. Other location around the planet have Manta Rays, but only Hawaii has the conditions for the Manta Ray Night Snorkel. Thanks to Captain Aidan and Kaden for a wonderful trip. This is a lifetime highlight.
