Itinerary
Rossio Square or Praça do Rossio, officially called Praça D. Pedro IV, is Lisbon’s nerve centre. The square is situated in the city’s Baixa neighborhood.
Church located on São Domingos square.
Pass by: The most expensive and fancy avenue in Lisbon.
The square is dedicated to the restoration of the independence of Portugal in 1640, after 60 years of Spanish domination. The obelisk in the middle of the square, inaugurated in 1886, carries the names and dates of the battles fought during the Portuguese Restoration War, in 1640.
One of the most impressive building on the historical center, the exterior was inspired by the 16th century Manueline architecture
Either due to the XIV century convent or the Carnation Revolution in 1974, this small square marked Lisbon's history
One of the most interesting monuments in the historic center where you can admire a breathtaking view
Elegant neighborhood developed in the 19th century for the city's intellectual and wealthy elites, it is possible to take a trip back in time just by admiring the facades of the shops and cafes that have survived the passage of the years
The main street in the city center in Lisbon
Completely rebuilt after the earthquake of the 18th century, obeying new rules of urbanism and antiseismic architecture, based on extremely innovative solutions for its time, it is still the heart of the city.
Panoramic View
The oldest neighborhoods of Lisbon. Well known for Fado music and narrow streets
Pass by: Jose I , "The Reformer", was the King of Portugal from 31 July 1750 until his death. Among other activities, Joseph was devoted to hunting and the opera. Indeed, he assembled one of the greatest collections of operatic scores in Europe.
The Praça do Comércio - Commerce square is located in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. Situated near the Tagus river, the square is still commonly known as Terreiro do Paço because it was the location of the Paços da Ribeira (Royal Ribeira Palace) until it was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon earthquake. After the earthquake, the square was completely remodeled as part of the rebuilding of the Pombaline Downtown.

Awesome tour!
Fantastic tour! Our guide Jose was excellent - knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about Portugal and its history. Everything was well organized, and we saw many incredible places. We learned a lot, had a great time, tasted pastels de nata, cod croquettes with green wine and would absolutely recommend this tour to others.
Fantastic tour!
Our guide Natalia was Amazing! Super knowledgeable, passionatate about history and a great communicator. Super willing to inform and constantly encouraging asking questions. The snacks and drink provided were also lovely. The drink was very small but reasonable for the price. The group size was slightly larger than anticipated, but the tour guide still managed to reach everyone and keep everyone engaged. We've done multiple walking tours over the years, and this is definitely one of the best ones I've experienced thanks to Natalia. Absolutely brilliant!
Highlight of Our Trip
Franco was very knowledgeable about the city’s history and culture. The weather was uncomfortably hot, and he made a point of finding us shady and giving time to cool down. Highly recommend!
Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the walk!
Excellent walking tour with the best tour guide! Must have comfortable walking shoes, and note the landscape is not entirely flat - there are some hilly and high incline walks as you get into old town but you walk slow.
Lots of walking! We were...
Lots of walking! We were tired from our plane ride-schedule the walking tour a day after you arrive to save your legs. The guide was great! Knowledgeable and entertaining. He taught us some short cuts to avoid climbing uphill too many times that were helpful for the rest of our stay. And it was a great way to see almost all of the neighborhoods in historic Lisbon.
