Belfast and Titanic tour
The driver Patrick was very knowledgeable and a good driver but due to his presentation of the history of Belfast and the current state of Belfast Patrick’s personal beliefs make everything he says feel and sound agitated. A different approach to the day might have changed the overall end vibe and maybe relating to who is in the van and also providing some Irish music with a happy story or a jig and some Belfast information on food or culture might have left us feeling less exhausted and sad. My mom is from Belfast and I know that the history was a hard life - but on the day of the tour I had the opportunity to see my cousin and we grew up during some of the trying times with her and her brother coming back and forth to Canada. This would have been a perfect story to share with the group but the opportunity for conversation or anything positive was not given.
Colin is a Master Guide!
Due to rainy weather and protests in Belfast, our tour was not typical. But our guide, Colin, helped make the most of our day by guiding us to St. George’s Market in Belfast and by providing a wealth of Irish history. Titanic Museum was well-presented.
Titanic Experience is a must see
Keith was our driver and tour guide told great stories and told us a lot about Ireland. Titanic Experience was truly WOW!
Outstanding Tour
Our tour was outstanding at the Titanic. Wish we had more time. Many facts on building the ship and what caused it to hit the iceberg. Another fact it shows the actual site not only where it was built and launched. We took the black taxi tour in Belfast learned a lot about the Bombing and the IRA. Highly recommend this addition on this tour you will not regret it.
Great trip but longer than described
The Titanic exhibit and Black Cab tour of Belfast are both fantastic and highly recommended. The bus trip us was just OK. Our bus had issues, showed up late and didn’t seem able to go over 50mph so it took a looooong time to get from Dublin up to Belfast. We did stop at an old cemetery and see Celtic ‘High’ Crosses on the way so that made up for the extra time (somewhat). Overall it was an 11.5 hour trip so don’t believe any write up saying it is 6 hours. The Black Cab tour is cash-only so be sure to bring 25 GBP or 30 Euro per person if you want this extension.
