Itinerary
In your small group of 6, explore this infamous and picturesque quarter with your expert guide. This neighborhood is home to many fantastic sites such as the ruins of the Temple of Augustus, and Picasso's frieze.
Step inside this impressive cathedral and admire the gothic architecture. Then you'll make your way up the elevator to the top terrace for stunning views. After finishing at the Cathedral, your guide will escort you to have your lunch break before continuing on to the rest of the tour.
Free time for lunch - not included. Your guide will provide you with all recommendations.
After a break for lunch, jump in a short taxi ride to Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece - the Sagrada Familia. Inside you will truly be amazed and overwhelmed by the colors, light and architecture. Afterwards, you will make your way down to the crypt of Gaudi himself where he now lays to rest.
After another short taxi ride, with skip-the-line tickets you will enter Parc Guell - another one of Gaudi's masterpieces. This enchanting park is an amazing work of engineering and architecture, and you will learn about what inspired Gaudi to create it, and how he worked with nature to create this beautiful oasis of color.

Traveler reviews
Small group tour is ideal. Giovanna is pretty much an expert.
Giovanna gave one of the best, most interesting tours on our cross Portugal Spain trip. She was engaging and interesting with in depth knowledge of Sagrada Família. The small group is our preference allowing as many questions needed and no time spent waiting for wandering tourists.
Amazing and Flexible!
Helena was incredible. She was perfect for the kids and so accommodating. We really appreciated the flexibility with the schedule and timing because of the futbol match. It made our trip less stressful and very enjoyable! Thank you!
All Gaudi tour was great
We did a similar tour to this except it was all Guadi highlights… did not include the Gothic area. Instead we did Guadi’s first house Casa Vicens - which we really enjoyed. Olga E did a great job tying together Guadi’s life and work - for us to understand this brilliant artist better. After 4 times in Barcelona using Rick Steve’s guides… the 5-hours we spent with Olga E. made us really appreciate what we were seeing and Guadi’s genius. Plus, she takes amazing pictures! Bravo Olga E.
First time to Barcelona...
First time to Barcelona and wanted to deep dive into the Gaudi works and city history without getting stuck in crowds. This was a great solution for us.
Wonderful full day tour of Barcelona
My partner and I had the most wonderful day with LivTours on the Full Day Barcelona Tour. From the moment we met our guide Teresa (even though we were late, apologies again!), we felt in safe and knowledgeable hands. Teresa was warm, funny, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Barcelona’s history, art, and culture. Her excellent time management and seamless coordination allowed us to relax and enjoy the day, knowing everything was taken care of. She even made the tour extra personal by pointing out beautiful craft shops, offering local tips, and taking us to a fantastic Xurrería for churros and horchata (which we had mentioned wanting to try), all while keeping us on schedule. Despite the crowds (we saw eight cruise ships in port that day 😬), Teresa's thoughtful approach was outstanding. She took extra care to coordinate with other guides and hold back in busy areas so as not to overwhelm the city and the locals. Her consideration and care were truly noticeable and deeply appreciated. It was clear that Teresa cares not only for her tour group but also for her city and the people in it, and she does an excellent job of balancing her duties with respect and consideration. This was our second LivTours experience (the first was an unforgettable tour in Rome with Alessandro), and once again, we were blown away by the quality of LivTours' guides. Teresa made us feel like we were exploring Barcelona with a caring and knowledgeable family member. Thank you, LivTours, and especially Teresa, for making our day so special. We can’t wait to book with you again in the future. Worth every penny!
