A must do!

What an interesting way to spend a first morning in Athens! Anna was amazing, mixing food knowledge and history, while guiding us around Athens. This is a must do! The food experience was delicious! Note: do not eat before and come hungry, it’s a lot of food! Excellent tour!

Great food tour

Very interesting and tried several foods. Plenty to eat. Couldn't even eat it all. Guide was very knowledgeable and a fairly easy walk

Arrive hungry depart happy & full

Wow! What a wonderful way to start our Athens & Greek holiday! We arrived from Boston that morning, yes a bit tired from the overnight flight, but this early afternoon tour was a perfect way to explore Athens with our fabulous, knowledgeable guide. We started the tour with traditional coffee, strolled through the streets and neighborhoods in between our 5 food stops. Each stop offered delicious Greek foods with generous portions and lots of food to enjoy, even a cold beer or local wine to enjoy with our meals. You definitely need to arrive hungry. We went through the central market on our tour. We ended with delicious desserts. Our guide was friendly and genuine in her sharing information about the foods. She was a native of Athens and it was wonderful to see her greet friends on the streets.

Wonderful food tour of Athens

Definitely not your average Greek food tour. We visited places and tried foods that are typical of what locals actually eat. Peter was a thoughtful and kind guide, working around our schedule when we had to leave early so we didn’t miss out on trying anything. He also provided history and context for everything we tasted, which made the food and drinks even more enjoyable. Definitely arrive hungry and get ready to try delicious food you won’t find at all those rooftop restaurants overlooking the Acropolis.
