Itinerary
First, the guide will pick you up at the hotel (private tour) and he will take you to the cable car station that takes us to a comuna viewpoint. Here you will see some areas of the city from the top.
Arví park, on top of the eastern hills of the Medellín Valley, is a natural wonder. It is important to mention many tourists go to this place on their own, but they lose most of it, because, due to its largeness, they usually don't know where to walk, where the places are, or how to move through the mountains. But we got you covered. Once here, we’ll walk along its various indigenous paths, creeks, and natural pools, and we will learn its history and importance. Birdwatching is a common activity in this park, as it is home to hundreds of species, both, fauna and flora.
Just a hop from busy Medellin there’s the comuna 2 and the hidden Arvi Park. Let’s explore it together!

Phenomenal Must-Do Activity in Medellín!
We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with tour guide Wilder! If you are visiting Medellín as a family this is a must-do activity, preferably private, if you can. Communication by both the travel agency and Wilder were in English and top notch from beginning to end. We were picked up from our hotel on time and safely transported to the meeting point where we met up with Wilder. We took the Metro and 2 cable cars to Arvi Park. It was great seeing and experiencing the public transportation system in Medellín. We were happy to have Wilder’s guidance navigating the lines and processes at the train station and with the cable cars. Figuring it out alone would be possible but likely stressful. The views of the city and neighborhoods from the cable cars were stunning. Wilder described what we were seeing and provided the historical background each step of the way. Arvi Park did not disappoint. We felt so immersed in nature. Be prepared to walk but it’s absolutely worth it. Wear comfortable sneakers or hiking shoes. We were able to go at a comfortable pace for our 8-year old. Might be more difficult for a younger child unless they are accustomed to hiking. The streams and waterfall were so beautiful. We would have never been able to discover most of these sights on our own. It took about half a day. We went on a Wednesday morning and the crowds got bigger towards the early afternoon (primarily for transportation). Arvi Park didn’t feel crowded, maybe because it’s huge. This activity exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this experience!
Tremendous Experience
All the way down the sidewalks is a good experience, with excellent weather. It is an activity for any age. It's a good contact with nature. The guide was very attentive to us. I recommend it.
