Must Do Tour While In The Area
It was a great experience for our entire group of eight people. We learned so much about the history of the island and the region. Freya and Ollie were fantastic and made the experience a highlight of our trip.
Incredible guide, incredible scones!
Truly excellent experience! Booking was easy, communication was great, and the tour itself was fun and informative! Our guide, Carroll (absolutely spelled wrong), was superb! She made the tour informative without being pedantic, she individualized conversation, and made the whole tour warm and enjoyable! Second only to Carroll were the scones themselves! Highly recommend!
Amazing insight into Inisheer whilst cycling
Such a fun day! The boat ride to Inisheer was fairly rough, I had the lucky seat (took one for the team) and received most of the spray on the front of my pants (note to perhaps not sit on the aisle if it's choppy). Fortunately, it was not chilly and my pants dried as we cycled. I would suggest an e-bike (your knees will thank you), whilst there are only a few hills, a couple are quite steep and some folks walked their bikes up them. Phil was a fun tour guide and had interesting stories to share along the way, as well as the history of all of the islands - much appreciated. Ollie was also guiding a tour and stopped to say hello - it was great to meet him, as well. The tea and scones after our ride were delicious. Thankfully, the boat ride back was calmer. Recommended!

A GREAT DAY, against all odds!
The most wonderful Tour Operator (Ollie) and staff (Freya). My husband and I would not have made it at all to this tour as our car wouldn’t start and we were staying 45 minutes away. I called the number and immediately heard back from Ollie who came up with several plans on the spot on how we could still get to Aran Islands even though we clearly wouldn't’ make it for the original time. Between the two of them (Ollie and Freya) we made it on a later ferry, saw the island on e-bikes, and managed to catch up to group for scones and tea. Further, we sat with Ollie on the return ferry and were able to learn more and chat further about the history, etc. A tour is only as good as the people behind the operation, and we give this one HIGH MARKS for taking such good care of us in spite of our difficult start. Ollie even helped us AFTER the Aran tour when we had messaged some other questions about another destination…BEYOND HELPFUL and KIND. Take this tour!!! It’s a fabulous day with a wonderful tour company.
