Traveler reviews
The Amish Tour Experience
The trip was excellent. It was organized, informative, and went as planned. The tour company ( Jupiter Legend Corporations) took us from Virginia accompanied by a tour guide. When we arrived to the Amish House Museum, we went through a historical tour of one of the oldest the Amish houses. Then, we got to explore the Amish Farm. After that, we took a tour bus through the countryside of Lancaster and saw the Amish houses, farms, and lifestyle. We also went to Bird-At Hand Farmers' Market to shop from the various local Amish merchandise. At the end, the tour guide drove us back to Virginia in a smooth comfortable ride.
Amazing tour
This Amish Farm and House Day tour from Washington D.C. was an enriching and peaceful escape from the city. The visit to the Historic Amish Farm & House was both informative and immersive learning about Amish beliefs, daily life, and craftsmanship in such an authentic setting was truly eye-opening. The stop at Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market was a real treat! The aroma of fresh-baked bread and pies filled the air, and the variety of local products—from cheeses to handmade jams and classic Amish desserts—made it hard to leave empty-handed. Our guide deserves special recognition—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about sharing the Amish way of life. His thoughtful commentary and warm presence made the day all the more enjoyable.
