Grand Cru Wine Country from Strasbourg
Embark on an elegant journey through Alsace’s prestigious wine country on a private Grand Cru tour from Strasbourg. Travel along the legendary Alsace Wine Route, a narrow ribbon of vineyards and storybook villages nestled between the Vosges mountains and the Rhine, where over 90% of production is white wine and terroir is everything. With your English‑speaking wine expert, you’ll stop at carefully selected Grand Cru estates, each chosen for character, hospitality and exceptional wines.
Taste Alsace’s Noble Grapes
At each winery, you’ll explore Alsace’s four noble grape varieties that define its Grand Cru reputation: precise, mineral‑driven Riesling, intensely aromatic Gewurztraminer with notes of rose and lychee, rich and textured Pinot Gris, and fresh, grapey Muscat.
Tastings focus on single‑varietal wines, a hallmark of Alsace, so you can clearly sense how grape and terroir interact from one hillside to the next. Your hosts explain everything from soil and climate to food pairings, helping you appreciate why these wines rival some of Europe’s finest while remaining remarkably accessible.

Reviews
Great tour of Lavender fields and Olive trees. Enjoyed seeing multiple fields of each.
Both contrasting vineyards were excellent and very informative. We would definitely recommend this trip to others. The only thing that could improve the tour would be little snacks eg cheese and pretzels etc
We cannot say enough nice thing about this tour and Matt! Matt was knowledgeable, personable, engaging and organized. To keep two history buffs engaged for 8 hours is not easy, but Matt did an absolutely wonderful job. This tour was with every penny and then some. Thank you, Matt, for making our trip to Normandy so meaningful. And Go Bears!
