Head to the famous chaat gali, a street with an array of chaat (savory snacks) vendors. Some favorites include pani puri (a hollow fried crisp bread with a savory potato, onion, and chickpea filling), aloo chaat, aloo tikki, pav bhaji, and others. Next up, taste the Indian burger vada pav, a popular fast food that consists of fried potato mixture with chutneys served on a bun. You'll also sample savory snacks like samosas and kachori, and sweet delicacies like jalebi and petha, as well as a number of other dessert treats. My walk&street food tour in Agra
The tour was simply excelent, I felt very safe in the market place and also very sure about the food. The guys helped me with everything and had answers to my endless questions. The food was very very good and I could see how is it prepared. What’s best about the tour is that you really feel and see how do people in the streets of Agra live. Simply fantastic. Faizan and sanjay were the best tour guides ever! Would reccommend this tour to everyone who wants to taste the food from the streets ( in a safe way of course! )
A Sensory Experience
A wonderful way to savour local foods cooked fresh for you in a bustling vibrant environment. Our guide Sanjay Kesarwani took us on a varied culinary experience, walking from one venue to another in narrow streets filled with local people, all enjoying their food and socialising. It was a great way to see local life and appreciate the variety of food and the effort put in to preparation and cooking this mouthwatering and sometimes eye watering food!
Definitely a must
Having these guys show us around was beyond helpful. We had no idea what we wanted to eat and they showed us all the best things. They were also really helpful just helping us walk through the market area. We had so much food and enjoyed every bite! The tour was very safe and secure, they watched traffic and the crowds carefully to make sure we felt safe the whole time. 5 stars!
