- Update August 9th: The flow of new lava at Litli-Hrutur has stopped, at least for the time being. The area is still smoldering and is fascinating to visit.

This was my favorite tour from all the ones I did in Iceland. The lava fields are so cool, impressive landscape, a very nice hike. Our tour guide, Alain, shared so much knowledge and history and he’s so humble and funny, he made our tour! Alain, thank you so much for being so generous and kind. It was nice meeting you!

This was the best tour we took in Iceland and one of the best we’ve ever been on. Walking on the volcano lava was the highlight however, the other stops were all the best in the area. EDO our driver and tour guide was excellent and participated in the tour and was very considerate of all on the tour, including the slower ones. I highly recommend him and this tour.

I really liked this excursion and this guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive to everyone.The bus was comfortable and small. The stops were well organized and timed.
