Itinerary
Pass by: Enjoy the spectacular views of Kleifarvatn Lake.
Hike to the new eruption sites at Fagradalsfjall and Meradalir. The hike is moderate and takes around 2 hours in each direction over mostly flat dirt roads.
See the colorful geothermal area at Seltún Hot Springs. (this is skipped on longer hikes)

Great day with Sidri
Our guide was Sidri. We had an exceptional experience. Sidri was very nice and kind and his explanations were intersting, diverse and with humour. He answered in detail and wilingfull to our many questions and made us a great day.
Beautiful tour
The tour was very nice, and we had enough time. Unfortunately, the guide was difficult to understand during the bus ride. However, he was extremely friendly and attentive. Also towards those who walked a bit slower while hiking. I combined the tour with the Blue Lagoon. It is simply overpriced. There are certainly better places to swim in Iceland.

Exhilarating hike! What a great experience!
Great experience! We had the best weather - a beautiful sunny day, about 10C, with a light wind. Still needed our jacket and hat though. The climb up was challenging at times as was the climb down due to rolling lava rock, and wind gusts but doable if you took your time. Our guide, Ottar, was amazing. Pleasant, informative, easy to talk to, and helpful. What we appreciated was the fact that during each leg of the hike, Ottar would come back to the back of the group and make sure everyone was doing ok. Hiking boots were a must. Also visited Grindavik, two hot springs, saw bubbling pots of mud, beautiful rock formations/cliffs along the coast. A long 10 hr day but lots to see and do and we loved it! Worth the cost. One of our favourite excursions of our trip!
