The only way to see Iceland
Really enjoyable tour which left us feeling that we had substantially seen Iceland. Our guide Simon Adolf was excellent - professional, friendly, informative (on sights and Iceland in general). Accomodations were good but the jewel in the crown was our last stop at Hótel Blönduós - we stayed in "The Church" of this dispersed hotel; amazing. Food at Hótel Blönduós was top quality and the welcome from the owner/manager was truly warm and friendly. This hotel should always be used on this tour . . it was a great way to finish up
Above and beyond
From the moment our tour guide/driver (Koli) picked us up we knew we were in safe and knowledgeable hands. Throughout the trip Koli was always available to give assistance with any queries and gave expert commentary on a range of topics throughout our travels. He seemed to have expansive knowledge of Iceland's history, geographical details and its people that was astounding. Koli was also mindful of passengers' needs for timely stops and allowed sufficient time for exploring and photos. At the end of each day we were given options where we could have dinner and places to explore nearby. We were elated to have experienced so many amazing sights with Koli and the other passengers.

I recently took the "6 Day Iceland Ring Road Highlights Tour With Accommodation" organized by BusTravel Iceland, and it was an incredible experience. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. My guide, Addi, was absolutely amazing! He is highly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts about Iceland's history, culture, and tourist attractions. He even gave me great tips on how to save money, which was incredibly helpful since Iceland is a very expensive country. On top of that, Addi is an fantastic photographer and taught me a lot about the local wildlife and birds. His kindness and hospitality are truly rare to find. The company itself was also wonderful, responding very promptly to all my questions. I have absolutely no complaints. Highly recommended BusTravel Island!

Just a stunning country. Our driver/guide, Michael, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Because of the weather (March can be a bit stormy), we had to adjust our itinerary on a couple days. Michael aptly made adjustments so that we could still see much of what was planned and he kept us well informed. Despite the storms, it was a great experience and we benefitted from smaller crowds. The small group made it easy to connect with others and the accommodations were well picked. Michael also made sure that we were informed of any amenities around the hotel so that we could take advantage of these (ex. small cafes, grocery store, local pool, restaurants). BusTravel was a great company to travel with. Highly recommended!!
