Good to know
- Any activity is completely customizable according to travelers’ preferences
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Long pants, long sleeve shirt, waterproof clothes and anti-mosquito are recommendable.
- We will hand you rubber boots, please make sure to give us your shoe size.
- It is important to carry your own lantern or flashlight. You will walk with it and use it often. Keep in mind you will be in places with no electric power.
- Keep hydrating constantly and use sunscreen
- You will have to be vaccinated against Yellow Fever

Absolutely Wonderful Trip Learning about Amazonian Birds and Culture!
We had an absolutely amazing five days in the Amazon with Edwin! First, we learned so much about the history and culture of indigenous groups in the region, which really enriched the way we experienced the nature. In fact, we were so inspired by the cultural history that we went to the Ethnographic Museum in Leticia after and have read a couple books since on indigenous people. Thank you Edwin (and Walter!) for sharing all that with us. Second, we are avid bird-watchers and really appreciated having a guide as knowledgable about the birds as Edwin. If you are interested in seeing and learning about the incredible birds in the region, Edwin is the guide for you (he even took pictures of many of the birds for us and arranged for all of us to journey to meet another accomplished bird guide--Otto--at the Amazon Bird Lodge). We almost booked one of the shorter tours, but we are so glad we went for the full five days. There is so much to see and learn and in many ways five days felt like it only scratched the surface. In addition to Edwin, all the other local guides we got to meet (Llildo, Pedro, Walter, and Daniella) were so kind, knowledgable, and welcoming. Everything was perfectly organized, safe, and friendly. It was great having a private tour that Edwin tailored so much to our interests. We could not recommend it more!
Great Adventure in Nature
What we experienced in the last 5 days cannot be described in words. The guide Edwin was exactly the right person for this adventure. He was simply great. I would have loved to have his eyes for nature. We was very happy that we haved Edwin as guide. The adventure is absolutely worth the money.
