AMAZING Athens & Peloponnese experience wit
The whole trip was incredible. Completely exceeded any imaginable expectations. Alexander was much more than our driver he became the perfect host. Always keen to maximise our Greek experience, exceptional knowledge, while prioritising safety and care the whole time - was AMAZING! Completely recommend to anyone visiting Athens and the Peloponnese.
It was AMAZING!
We are a group of five old(ish) women and have just spent the last six days enjoying the wonderful company and knowledge of Alexander at Olive Sea. He was so much more than a driver. Our first tour was the sunset tour to the Temple of Poseidon. Alexander welcomed us like we were already friends and we were treated with wonderful stories of humans, Gods, beasts and monsters on our way to Cape Saunio. The temple is beautiful at sunset. On the half day tour of Athens the next morning Alexander was joined by Giannis who proved an excellent guide to all the sites we visited. There was great conversation within our car as we travelled about the city. We then embarked on a four day tour of the Peloponnese. Alexander greeted us like old friends now and we so enjoyed his passionate telling of Greek mythology, insightful commentary and sense of humour as we ventured across the countryside. We covered a lot of ground from Corinth to Olympia, Sparta, Mystras, Mycenae, Napflio and Epidaurus before returning to Athens. All through the tour Alexander was truly professional, respectful and kind to us. He ensured the car was always close by for the required wheelchair (provided by Olive Sea) and, importantly, always knew where to get good coffee! Accomodation each night was extremely comfortable and centrally located. We are sincerely thankful to Alexander and the team at Olive Sea for making our stay in Greece so memorable. To use a phrase used often on our tour … it was amazing! 10 stars out of 5.
